Syntes om Facilities were excellent, toilets were super clean and beautiful. Shower was brilliant, hot and excellent water pressure. Exactly what you want after a big hike before bed. Drinking water available in loads of places, shop was well stocked and the coffee van was brilliant. But the my favourite part was the lovely fairly private pitch. We stayed in our roof tent so we were pitch at the top of the site surrounded by trees and right next to the start of a trail. This site is the perfect mix of little home comforts like a hot shower and nice facilities, but still felt like you were spending time in the wild. This is an excellent site that we have already recommended to friends.

Syntes om The host was excellent and this meant the atmosphere on site was really lovely and communal. Games for the children were available and a big campfire in the middle where you could gather in the evening. A very relaxed site, meaning dogs can be off lead if friendly which was great for us. Loved that the children could all play together and because the site is fairly small they can be seen at all times. It's a bit more of a wild camping set up which we are used too so it worked great for us, just pitch up where you like and spend some time in the wild with like-minded people. The pub nearby was excellent. We came with our 1 year old so only booked the 1 night to see how she got on in a tent and she loved it. Location was great and views were lovely.

Syntes ikke om If your looking for a site with all the facilities this might not be the camp site for you, no showers and the toilet facilities were basic, but this is made clear at the point of booking. But if your looking for more of a relaxed site with a wild camping feel, I'd definitely recommend 👍
