Syntes ikke om No toilet paper early in the morning. Pitch wasnt level. Access road around camp was tricky, very steep in parts and challenging. One vehicle got stuck trying to get out of their pitch.

Syntes om Close to Gloucester and Tewkesbury for day trips. Sheltered pitches. Quiet.

Syntes ikke om No water tap nearby. Toilets & Shower block dated and the light in the women’s didn’t work both nights we were there. Gravel is deep and not compacted on the access roads but the pitches were fine. Phone coverage was limited which will suit some but not others.

Syntes om Pitches had a sea view. Super clean facilities close by including pot wash. Path down to beach. Pool, games room and big club house. It’s like a throwback in time, but that’s part of its charm.

Syntes ikke om Shower heads were so close to the wall it was very difficult to wash your hair. One sink in the women’s Bathroom got blocked every day. Road down was steep and narrow and whilst we didn’t encounter a vehicle going the opposite way it would’ve been very difficult if we had.

Syntes om Open fairly level grass site, chickens and geese next door for a bit of entertainment. Close to steam trains and local brewery tap room. Nice village for a wander. Very welcoming owner. Shower was very clean and spacious. Portaloos did the job. Chemical disposal easily accessible. Water next to each pitch.

Syntes om Lovely open site, plenty of choice when choosing your pitch. Laid back atmosphere with great play facilities for the kids. Fire pits welcome and available to hire. Clean toilets & showers and some composting loos too. Good value for money and very welcoming owners. Amazing stars at night. Site was quiet after dark and in the morning too which was great for sleeping. There are yurts and glamping tents available. Lots to do nearby. We were in a Boxer campervan and access was fine, but approach lanes are tight so anything bigger would struggle. We had a great time and look forward to a return trip.

Fra bestyreren: Thank you very much for your visit and lovely review. It’s true that the lanes around us are quite narrow. Sometimes it’s best to head south east towards Bridport wherever you are going to meet the bigger road at SalwayAsh.
