Syntes om Lovely site. Linda who runs the site is incredibly helpful and will go out of her way to accomodate you during your stay. I also noticed that she cleans the toilet and shower blocks out at least twice a day which means they are always immaculate.

Syntes ikke om Coming back to find another tent pitched very close to ours, definitely not to the 6m spacing guide but I do get that its just a guide, would of been nice to of been a bit more spaced out though. Also the playground is very small but was still the hub of entertainment for all the kids who were there the same time we were

Syntes om Nice little site with a fantastic view over Bassenthwaite Lake. We very much liked that we were just left to our camping. Didn't even see the site owner while we were there but as seasoned campers, rocking up, finding a spot and just pitching up is fine for us. The toilets and shower was kept nice and clean too, and the shower was lovely and warm.

Syntes ikke om Although the toilets and shower were kept nice and clean the floors in the porta-loos had seen better days and made visiting the little boys room after a few beers an interesting experience. The shower was a lovely shower but it would of been nice if there was a light in there so you didn't have to make sure you showered during daylight just so you could see what you are doing. Also a little pot washing station wouldn't go amiss. As we were only there a couple of nights we managed fine but if you stayed any longer it would be nice to have somewhere to wash up.
