Syntes om We loved this location in the Lake District. The site was peaceful with plenty of room for guests even during peak season (August). The river running directly behind the site was amazing. The owner was very accommodating, suggesting local activities and where the closest pub/shop was. The location was amazing for visiting the Wast Water Lake for walking/watersports. Also there are two pubs within walking distance.

Syntes ikke om Not a big deal but note that the farm track can be a bit rough/rocky as it is a farm if visiting.

Syntes om We had a lovely stay at the riverside campsite, especially because of its close location to Scarborough, Filey and Pickering. The campsite was well facilitated with toilets, showers, electric hookup and rubbish disposal. There were about 5 free roaming sheep on the campsite which were fun to spot (although we found them scary at night lol). Toilets and showers were relatively clean for a grass campsite (bits of mud and grass occasionally brought in by campers but couldn’t really be helped). Owners of this campsite were very polite and helpful via text. Thank you for our stay, we hope to visit again :)

Syntes ikke om One problem we had was the toilets would get blocked up fairly regularly but we were not sure what was causing this.
