Syntes om We really liked this campsite as it was a good size without being too big and there were different areas rather than one field. The field was also enclosed within a high hedge keeping the area sheltered. Whilst there we found our stay very relaxing and peaceful. There is a fenced off area with a wildlife meadow on one half and a small football pitch for children on the other side - our children enjoyed this (b10 & g9), but they absolutely loved the games shed where they went to play pool and play on the piano. One of the special things about the site is that there is a large Guinea Pig hutch and the children were invited to go in the morning for feeding time. I walked past and found them all sitting quietly with a Guinea Pig on their laps having strokes and breakfast. The facilities at the site are well cleaned and cared for and we didn’t have to wait for either the toilet, shower or sinks for washing up. We found the hosts to be extremely welcoming and helpful, suggesting a dog friendly beach that we went to and being available if needed. All in all a great stay that we wished we had booked for longer. My daughter has asked if we can come again in April 🙂
