Syntes om Really cosy cabin, loved the Everhot stove. Kitchen small but had what we needed. Comfy bed. Hot tub took few hours to get going in freezing temps but it was great once we had managed it. Very kind to provide new logs each night, and Chocs & wine treats on arrival too. The site was really interesting and very spacious, small shop & cafe, outdoor gym. Canal walks to Audlem and Nantwitch. Board games and tv hdmi cable supplied.

Syntes ikke om Couple of suggestions only - hooks for dressing gown outside next to hot tub and some slippers would be nice as we forgot ours and had to run to the hot tub barefoot.

Syntes om - quick & easy arrival - great location, 6mile walk to Scarborough on cliff top, 1mile walk to Clayton Bay quieter beach with paddle-board and surfboard hire - lots of facilities for families (swimming pool, fish & chips, pub) - well stocked shop - plenty of toilet/shower/sink cubicles, never had to wait

Syntes ikke om - toilet & shower cleanliness was hit & miss - very busy site, arrived at 7pm Friday and not much space left (definitely not on cliff top that the pictures drew us to book for!) - seemed to not be a curfew for noise … large groups noisy until after midnight

Syntes om - Quiet and peaceful - Lovely views of hills - Clean shower & toilet - Plenty of space to pick a pitch - Good location to nearby attractions like Zipworld - Friendly, relaxed owners and their dogs :) - Sheep, alpacas and chickens on site

Syntes ikke om - Just needed another shower / toilet as queued sometimes when site was a bit busier (glamping huts/pods use this too) - Could do with a shelter over the washing up area as rain & wind was awful for us! - Not an issue for us but the site is up a very steep, winding hill which might be difficult for motor homes etc

Syntes om - Spotless and modern toilet / shower block - Plenty of space on pitch on the ‘hedgerow’ - Cafe, shop and play area on site - Friendly atmosphere - Clean site overall, well looked after - Easy drive to Pickering and coastal towns

Syntes om - The Knoll pitch area was set away from main tent field with playground so was nice and quiet - Clean facilities, we were really impressed with how clean the facilities were! All facilities were thoroughly cleaned once a day and we noticed a toilet seat was broken and fixed in the same day. Hand sanitiser was readily available as was antibacterial spray for wiping surfaces after use. - Plenty of facilities. The Knoll block had 5 showers, male/female toilet blocks, 4 sinks for washing up and one for washing clothes. We never had to wait or queue. - Friendly owners who did patrols at night to make sure no one was rowdy - Great views and location to base for exploring lots of towns, beaches and walks - Pitches were clearly marked out with white spray and were well spaced out, leaving 5m between each tent. The site didn’t ever feel too busy even as all the pitches started filling up. - Barley any 4G signal. There was little 4G signal at the site so we really got a chance to unplug and enjoy being outside! This may be a disadvantage to some, but WiFi vouchers are available for those desperate to get online.

Syntes ikke om Not really dislikes as we loved our stay, just some things to note. - Ground was very hard and set on slate so struggled with our pegs and ended up with a few bent ones. No fault of the owners, just wasn’t expecting it to be that hard to pitch (this was also our first proper camping trip!) - We weren’t able to use the freezer for cool blocks due to COVID. A shame in the heatwave week we were there, but understandable.
