Syntes om Peace! Perfection. Clean, quiet, Penny welcomed us at the entrance and had added some wire fencing to the gate so we could camp near the top of the field with our dog Thank you!

Syntes ikke om Too many people on the site. Was expected to be busy but we were pitched very close to other campers. It felt like they had accepted too many bookings. Part of the ‘wild camp’ experience is normally a feeling of being alone (or at least almost) … it was far from this. I would assume it is normally much quieter and would be a great place to stay

We do not have allocated pitches and therefore you made the decision where you set up your pitch. You are correct, this weekend has been busier than normal, however we capped the 5 acre field you were in at 60 pitches and did not reach that. If you were unhappy with your pitch we would gladly have helped you move to a more suitable pitch had you mentioned it when we spoke. We will be updating facebook with aerial photographs of this weekend at the site later today so please take a look. We hope we can welcome you to Lathkill Wild Campsite again and wish you a great summer of camping!! Thankyou LWC
