Syntes om Location was great, facilities clean, Trattoria restaurant lovely, very convenient for buses to Dartmouth / Torcross etc

Syntes ikke om Nothing particularly, end of season so ground was a little soft. You will need levelling ramps but we struggled a bit with the wooden ones on site as the soft ground meant we needed to be careful they didn’t touch the underside of the van as we drove on/off

Syntes ikke om the view on the Sea is blocked by the many mobile homes/ caravans. Also the quietness is disturbed by some heat pump noise…

Syntes om The scenery, location and staff exceptionally friendly. Had a great experience at the Italian restaurant too! Definitely recommend for a meal.

Syntes ikke om The tent pitches are on a slope, so spent much of the night having to shuffle back up the beds.
The village church bells also go on the hour and every half an hour… including throughout the night. Not great unless you can get to sleep easily!

Syntes om We love this campsite albeit our 6th time of studying over the past few years and this was by far the busiest but tents were all fab but parking was chaotic!

Syntes ikke om The amount of cars parked..literally everywhere and every piece of spare land was parked upon so when we returned on saturday eve after being out for the eve there was literally nowhere to park around and around we drove and had to squeeze in a tiny spot in the side of the road/driveway!

Syntes ikke om This campsite was a complete letdown and absolutely nothing like the “luxury camping” it claims to be. The ground is so sloped and uneven that parking and sleeping in a camper van was a nightmare. Totally uncomfortable and not fit for purpose.

The toilets were a portable block and located up an, uneven slope that was unsafe and ridiculous to walk to, especially at night.

The advertising is completely misleading and I was not the only one who felt this way. We were even given a pitch due to another camper leaving early, now I understand why. There is nothing good about this place at all. It felt neglected, run down, and a waste of money. Avoid if you’re looking for a proper camping experience.

I contacted the site but of course no response.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’ve checked our correspondence and can confirm we’ve not received any contact from you prior to your review. We always respond to complaints and would have welcomed the opportunity to resolve your concerns during your stay, so it’s disappointing that this wasn’t raised with us at the time.

Our site is located in an AONB and the natural hillside can create some uneven ground. We provide chocks for guests who may need assistance and our team is always available day or night to help ensure you’re comfortable.

Syntes om Location, sea views, very clean facilities, amazing pizza from the Italian on site and friendly and helpful staff.

Syntes ikke om (Though this isn’t controlled by Leonard’s Cove but FYI for light sleepers) the church bells ringing at least every hour throughout the night. Not a mega issue but suggest light sleepers bring ear plugs.
