Coastal walks, beach days, outdoor adventures, family days out… whatever it is that brings you to this part of Devon, you’ll have a great base at Dartmouth Caravan Park. This family-friendly site (which also welcomes your four-legged companion) is part of a farm that’s surrounded by the stunning south Devon countryside and easily accessed from the main A3122 road to Dartmouth (five minutes’ drive). The harbour town’s shops, activities, attractions and restaurants are a couple of miles away, and there’s a handy bus stop just outside the site for easy trips to town via public transport. Dartmouth itself has plenty to keep you busy, especially if you take a ferry across the River Dart to explore all the things on the Kingswear side as well. It’s far from the only option for a day out, though – in fact, this area is pretty packed with things to do, with Woodlands Family Theme Park, huge sandy beaches like Blackpool Sands, Paignton Zoo and the huge expanse of Dartmoor National Park all within a half-hour drive. And that’s before you’ve even planned trips to nearby towns like Totnes (20 minutes) and Salcombe (35 minutes), or the fishing village of Brixham (25 minutes). That’s a lot to fit in, so it’s good to know that Dartmouth Caravan Park is comfortable enough to settle in for several days, with spacious pitches that have access to a dog park as well as a clean and modern bathroom block with accessible facilities.

Syntes om Well what can I say this gem of a campsite is one of the best we have stayed at the pitches are brilliant and big with a additional grass pitch to the side which is yours also so it’s more private from next pitch. The pitches have a water tap , electric hook up and even an electric car charging point if you need to charge the car. The shower and toilet block is one of the cleanest and warmest we’ve ever been to with lovely music playing and hairdryers to use for no extra cost. There is a big fenced of dog field to exercise the fur babies in , and it’s all well lite on the site no need for torches. Lovely view s over the fields and lovely view of the sunset in the evening. Theres a bus stop right outside the entrance on left to Dartmouth and Totnes for getting about and there dog friendly too.
And now to Abbie the host she was so welcoming and helpful certainly goes above and beyond for her guests one of the nicest people we have met . Thank you for a lovely stay and we will definitely be coming back 😁😁

Syntes om The toilets and showers were pristine and the under floor heating was lovely.

Syntes ikke om Not a fan of the split pitch situation which ive never seen before. We couldn't fit our outfit of campervan and awning on without parking on the grass tier across the back. This meant we couldn't drive away and had to rely on bus and taxi for travel.
You also can't walk into town as there's no footpath.

Syntes om This is a new campsite and there was nothing I disliked about it.
. The owner responded quickly and efficiently to my queries.
. The pitches are well spaced. My pitch had a gravel hard standing with a grass area for the campervan awning.
. Water and electric hook up is right next to the pitch.
. The views of the rolling hills are stunning.
. The camp site is immaculate, well tended and the shower and toilet block with its underfloor heating is exemplary.
.returning to the site each night at around 11:30 we were grateful for the low level non invasive lighting.
. Wi fi was strong and a nice added bonus.
. I would 100% recommend this site which is excellent value.

Syntes om Stunning views from spacious pitches. 5 mins drive from sainsburys and 8 mins from Dartmouth. Immaculately clean new facilities with underfloor heating & mood music while you shower! Hairdryers provides too! Wonderful place! My only concern is getting booked in once word gers around about it!

There are multiple areas to explore at Woodlands Family Theme Park (five minutes’ drive), so if the kids (or you…) are into testing your agility skills, you might want to check out the Ninja Zone, with climbing walls and net bridges; if you’re into thrills, the Cyclone Canyon Zone has watercoasters and toboggan runs. There are also falconry displays and a zoo farm. The harbour at Brixham (25 minutes) is home to a full-size replica of the Golden Hind, the 16th-century galleon that sailed around the world under Sir Francis Drake. Walk along the Brixham Breakwater, which stretches half a mile into Tor Bay, for expansive views of the town. Dartmoor National Park (half an hour) has plenty of top spots where you can indulge your active passions, whether you’re into hiking, cycling, horse riding or canoeing. Otters, bats and cuckoo birds are among the many wildlife species inhabiting the park’s open moorlands, bogs and woodland.
