The setting is a stunning small pop up campsite on the outskirts of the lovely Cornish town of Lostwithiel. Heydaze Campsite boasts simple facilities, a huge uncrowded field of only seven pitches, and unrivalled views of the River Fowey Valley and Restormel Castle.
The site facilities consist of composting toilet and urinals, hot shower, washing up area and communal fire pit/social area. There are also small individual fire pit areas outside each pitch.
Heydaze Campsite is open for July, August and September 2024. We have 5m bell tents sleeping up to four people in each, which are available to rent, with the following tiers available:
'DIY'
A pitched empty bell tent with fire pit, for you to bring your own camping equipment and sleeping supplies
'Home Comforts'
Lovely comfortable furnished bell tents with rugs, real beds, sleeping bags, bean bags, and fully equipped mini-kitchen (Kelly Kettle, crockery, utensils)
'Super Luxury' (Provided by Tylda Tents)
Furnished to an exceptionally comfortable level, including rugs, real wooden beds, vintage furniture, indoor and outdoor lighting, luxury bed linen, blankets and soft furnishings, and a fully equipped custom-built outdoor kitchen for each tent (BBQ, gas stove, cool box, crockery, utensils, pots, pans, kettle, tea towels, washing up equipment, chopping board, etc).
All pitches have a picnic bench and fire pit.
We allow up to two well behaved dogs per tent, but request that they are not allowed to sleep or lie on the beds. We would also like to make you aware that Heydaze Campsite is situated within a small working farm, and as such there are animals on site (alpacas and chickens), and dogs will need to be appropriately managed with respect to the farm animals.
We can provide a travel cot with real mattress and sheet on request (no additional charge).
We can provide a stretch awning at an additional fee of £50 per booking on request.

Follow Sat Nav to St Winnow School PL22 0RA. Continue to follow Polscoe Road past the school and look out for Heydaze Campsite sign on farm gate to your left, before you drop down the hill. If you reach a small track with a sign for Copperbarn, you have gone too far.

Heydaze Campsite is within walking distance of Lostwithiel's town centre which is chock full of wonderful independent shops, pubs and eateries. Lostwithiel is an ancient stannary town and the unofficial antiques capital of Cornwall. The River Fowey winds its way through the town centre, creating the locals favourite river bank 'beach' next to the 14th century bridge.
The site is a 15 minute drive to the beaches of the Cornish South Coast, and a 10 minute drive from the Eden Project. North Coast beaches are a 30/40 minute drive away.
Lostwithiel has a very well stocked Co-op, and the nearest large supermarkets are in Bodmin and St Austell, each a 15 minute drive away.
