Syntes om Lovely, peaceful location. We had a bell tent en route to our final destination but all agreed it would have been lovely to stay there longer. Good, clean facilities. Excellent bacon baps in the morning

Syntes om We came home today spending a night in a bell tent, this site is beautiful! We woke up to stunning views and had a fab bacon butty and a coffee made by Martyn and Anne. Martyn and Anne are AMAZING owners of this place and make you feel welcome from the minute you arrive. There two beautiful dogs also make you feel very welcome, we loved them. The site is absolutely spotless and the toilet and shower facilities are the best we have used yet. We will 100% return here and would definitely recommend.

Syntes om Great views, really lovely owners. Facilities were top notch, very clean. Scar bucks sold coffee and croissants every morning. We will go back with our own tent soon.

Syntes om Fantastic site, modern, clean faciluties and great location for multiple different walks (we went over the quarry to the microbrewey which was excellent). Loved the Scarbucks for coffee, bacon butties and croissants in the morning. Fantastic stay, thank you 😊

Syntes om Everything! Beautiful spot with views of the sea. The Bell Tent was very roomy and sleeping mats provided. The toilet block was hotel standard! And the Scarbucks coffee and bacon/sausage baps was a true highlight. Highly recommend.

Syntes om Me and my friend have just come home from a 1 night stay and all I can say is WOW! What a beautiful camp site. The views are absolutely stunning. The owners are so helpful and friendly. Martyn helped with our tent as we were struggling and made sure we were ok. Scarbucks in the morning for a brew and a croissant what a lovely little touch! We will definitely be returning! Thank you so much x

Syntes om The view was lovely. The toilets were clean. The site was well looked after.

Syntes ikke om I think it was extremely expensive compared to other campsites. For 1 adult, in a 1 man tent, on a motorbike with a puppy chihuahua it was £38 a night. You can stay in a hotel in Blackpool for £39 a night lol. The thing that annoyed me the most was the campsite had 2 dogs roaming around free. They have an all dogs on lead policy, and no dangerous dogs allowed. However one of these dogs attacked my dog and I had to drag it off. There was no one around to take the dog away. I mentioned it to a couple of women, however the dogs just kept roaming around. They kept coming back, and scaring my dog. I was trying to read a book and found it stressful. I was booked for 3 nights but only stayed for 2, as they kept coming back. There are much better value for money sites to stay on nearby with similar views such as red bank farm and gibraltar farm. The path leading onto the site is also challenging for motorbikes with lots of gravel. I won't be going again. Only 1 tap on the whole site near the toilet block. They had a unisex toilet/shower block which I don't like. As a female solo traveller I prefer using a womens only toilet block and shower.

Fra bestyreren: Glad you enjoyed the views, our dogs are not dangerous dogs, just over friendly which most people enjoy. However, they should not be running around & we will address that issue. We have measures in place to keep them away from the camping field , but occasionally they do get to come &see the campers & play with the children. As for attacking your dog , I was informed by the lady who was listening to your discussion that what you said was incorrect, she said quite clearly that our dog was only playing & putting his paw on your dog. She was very firm that what you were saying was incorrect.
Red & Zeus are loved by 99% of our campers.
As regards the access we have motorcyclists & cyclists regularly who are very happy, we have never had a problem.
Our reviews reflect the that 99.9% of our customers are more than happy with our service & access & many regularly return .
But we do realise that we are never going to please everyone.
