Woodside Campsite

Syntes om This is a great new adults only campsite with well behaved dogs welcome if they stay on leads and owners are willing to clean up after them. Perfectly located up the hill, a comfortable walking distance from Otley. As others have said the host Michelle is a delight to deal with. She is friendly and enthusiastic and nothing was too much trouble. The site is quite small but the pitches are nicely spaced out. It's not like some sites where everyone is on top of each other, crammed in. The added bonus is being able to park next to your pitch making unloading nice and easy. In addition, we were allowed to pick our own pitch and they were happy for us to arrive after work in the early evening after travelling from work. The facilities are basic but clean, new and sufficient. There was a toilet and a shower and outside sink and tap washing up facility. There were also waste and recycling facilities and everything was cleaned, replenished and emptied regularly. The site is on a farm but the animals are obviously in a separate field but close enough to wander over to look at them. Traditional animal farmyard sounds can be heard from the site (Cockerel crowing!) But this didn't bother us. We were also treated to the most delicious eggs ordered from the farm hens and delivered to our tent the next morning freshly laid! The site is on a main road and there is road noise but we found this disappeared in the evening and overnight and during the day we just got used to it as background noise. We liked the location as we could walk 20 minutes down the hill into Otley town where there are several nice pubs and restaurants and excellent independent shops, butchers, bakeries, grocery shops and also market days. Closer to the site is a local pub 5 minutes walk away. All in all this is a great site and we would definitely return.

Syntes om Excellent campsite with lovely views.
You get a spacious pitch and only a set number of pitches available so you know it will not be cramped and overun with people.
The host (Michelle)was very friendly and welcoming and we had a good ole chinwag.
The pub is only 5 minute walk away and the food is excellent.
The toilets and shower block were immaculate and there is a sink outside to wash your pots n pans.

Syntes om Nice quiet setting. Adults only and plenty of space around pitches. Even when full I can't imagine the site feeling busy. Plenty of walking options nearby.

Syntes om Lovely location just outside Otley but only a 15 min walk into the centre of town. The site is a trail as a 'pop up' for this summer. Really well laid out with pitches carved out of the long meadow grass to give a lot of space and perceptions of privacy. Toilet and shower block is a mobile unit but brand new and spotlessly clean. Pub just 2 mins walk up the road.
The owner Michelle was really friendly and even printed out directions for me to the VW Show I was going to on the day of departure. Little touches like that make all the difference.
Donkeys and goats on the site too so what's not to like!!! Highly recommended.

Syntes om Lovely campsite. Very peaceful and quiet. The toilet and shower facilities were super clean and well kept. Loved the animals on site and the owner was super friendly. She even allowed us to pet the animals and help feed the pigs! Will definitely come back when we next visit Yorkshire!

Syntes om Very quiet and mellow site. Apart from the slight road noise. Lovely host. Michelle is very lovely. Just very basic.

Syntes om Extremely nice and friendly owners, beautiful scenery, cute and friendly animals and toilets were very clean. The pub is within a 5 minute walk

Syntes om Amazing little campsite, very peaceful and great toilet and wash facilities.

We will come back here again (when we can find a babysitter) the site is adult only and has good views of the surrounding area.

There is a pub 6 mins walk up the hill that serves amazing pies and other pub grub. Close to Otly which has lots of independent shops right on the river.

Syntes om We stayed in our tentbox, Everything was super Clean and pitch size are great! They don’t try to cram loads in so you get a nice personal pitch.
