Got the kids at home and need a way to keep them entertained that’s easy on the wallet? Pack up your paddleboards and kayaks and make a beeline for Lichfield Waterside Campsite, 15 minutes’ drive away from Lichfield in Staffordshire. Once there, pitch up with fantastic views over the three-acre lake that forms the hub of this pop-up site, and you can be out on the water in no time at all. Occasional special events with entertainment take place over the school holidays (there’s a marquee for days when the weather is not behaving), and after you’ve paid for your pitch, everything happening on site is free to attend, making this a very budget-friendly stay indeed. There’s no pressure though; if you don’t want to join in with the festivities, there’s plenty of space on the enormous camping field for you to quietly get on with your holiday your way. The basics – clean and accessible loos, splash shower tents, chemical toilet disposal points and water to fill up tanks – are provided and free to use, but there is no drinking water available, so you'll need to bring that with you.

Syntes ikke om When booking on pitchup Was not infirmed that this field was a pop up "campsite" booked for a wild festival.

Portaloos were absolutely the worst ever experienced.
Grass was ankle length and very sharp.
No other facilities what so ever.

Fra bestyreren: Good morning, you paid £42 for 3 people for 2 nights, you scored us a 1/10 for accommodation yet you stayed in your own tent?
If you had read the site information you would of seen that we are a family festival event that opens up our hired land to pitch up and a incredibly cheap rate considering the entertainment that was provided, I wish you had come and spoken to a marshal if you was unhappy.

a lovely peaceful tranquil little site, really enjoyed our weekend
