Líbí se I absolutely loved Efford Down. It was so tranquil. A short walk into Bude. Robin was super helpful. We also got a visit from a friendly, local cat. Internet and phone signal was excellent. My SEN loved the freedom and space, to run around in. I prefer smaller, more basic sites. My son gets overwhelmed easily. I truly felt relaxed.

Líbí se Jim the site owner is a lovely guy. He's super friendly and helpful. The site was so peaceful. Amazing views of the countryside. My son has additional needs and he loved running around. I realky did feel so relaxed there. The phone signal and internet signal were great too.

Líbí se The staff were lovely. The site was clean. The toilets and showers were modern and close to the pitch. Lots of birds in the trees. We had an electric hook up which had our very own tap with drinking water and a drain. That was very handy. Lydd airport is close by, so if you have children or enjoy planes, that was pretty cool.

Nelíbí se The beach opposite had poor water quality when we visited and it wasn't recommended to swim there. Thats not the campsites fault but it's something to bare in mind.

Líbí se Lovely location. Dorset is stunning. So many beautiful places to visit. The camp was nice and tidy and everyone was friendly.

Líbí se I absolutely loved the non electric large pitches. It was so peaceful and spacious. My son has Autism and Adhd and I loved how it had a fence all the way around, and they had grown reeds because I believe their maybe water around the perimeter. The outside pool was lovely ( we didn't use the inside one ) and the campsite was clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and not judgemental when my son was having meltdowns.

Nelíbí se There is only one shower / toilet block which is used by the campers but it is amongst the caravans. If you have young children, it would be worth bringing a portable potty. I wouldn't feel comfortable walking to the loo in the night. I think it would be worth the lifegaurds giving 15 minute warning until the end of the pool session. I didn't realise the pool session was ending until the lifeguard let us know and I didn't have time to prepare my autistic son. He had an epic meltdown.

Líbí se All the staff were lovely. There were loads of shower blocks and toilets. Although the toilets and showers were a little dated, I never had to que, they were always clean and the water pressure was great. The camp was a great base for our adventures around Cornwall. Nothing was too far away. The beach is right next to site but I picked the tricky way over the sand dune. The local town was also very close and it had everything we could need. I didn't go into the club house because my son is Autistic but my nephew went in to watch England's first world cup game and he said the atmosphere was good, the food was good and the cocktails were yummy.

Nelíbí se I had a couple of noisey neighbours but in all honesty I am a light sleeper and it was the world cup.

Líbí se Everyone was really friendly. The site is surrounded by sand dunes and it reminds me of being in Cornwall. We saw seals immediately and they were in the water with us, whilst we swam. The site was clean. The showers were large enough that I could shower with my autistic son.

Líbí se Absolutely immaculate. Idyllic. Peaceful. Lovely planting around site. Bird song. Showers and toilets always spotless. I especially loved the disabled toilet / shower room. I was camping with my very autistic son and I was able to shower myself and him at the same time. The room was spacious and he didn't feel the need to run out the door.
