Líbí se A fantastic gem of a site.. owners are so nice. Welcoming and generous with their time and assistance when required. Lovely walk to a local pub, lovely lakes on site. Even got some fishing in and caught a few. Very highly recommended

Líbí se We absolutely loved the site! Weather was beautiful and first evening and night was glorious. Unfortunately we had a party with 4 tents and 8 very young children who made a lot of noise and pitched their tents all close together on one pitch. Screaming babies during the night and up at 6 am the next morning running around, riding bikes and playing ‘cricket’ right outside our van 😳 I think the sign says no noise until 7.30 am but this should be made a bit later for non children visitors. maybe if there are camping parties with 15 people (including kids) and 4 tents, other campers should be made aware?The owner was so lovely and we moved pitch to another further away so the third evening and night were much better. The facilities are fantastic! Showers were sooooo good! And you don’t pay extra for fire pits and wood which is so rare! We will definitely go back as it is a beautiful part of the country to visit! We might check that big groups aren’t there at same time though!

Od správce: Hi Chris Thanks for your review, we are glad that you loved our site and that you appreciated us moving you to a quieter area when the group were causing you upset. The 7.30am rule is a Greener Camping Club rule which must be adhered to as part of our licensing agreement so can't be changed I'm afraid. The other campers had booked 4 pitches so were able to pitch up at will between the 4 areas, due to the size of our site they become the majority. In our experience children are understandably very excitable when camping, especially when they are with their friends and whilst we are sorry that this negatively affected you it seems they didn't break any rules with the exception of the 6am cricket and for this we can only apologise. We really do want to make everyone that comes here feel welcome and with that in mind can say that for the most part mid week is quieter with less children. By all means double check in with us next time you are looking to stay and we can reassure you as to the other bookings. We would love to welcome you back :)

Líbí se I cannot rate this site highly enough. A fantastic location, such friendly and accommodating staff/owners and perfect facilities. We felt so welcomed and looked after. We booked our next visit for July whilst we were there.

Líbí se Great location, toilets very clean and seem up to date. Nice little bistro bar on site serving Pizza and drinks. Beach is stunning. Friendly staff.

Líbí se Absolutely stunning location.. I cannot emphasise that enough… staff are so friendly and facilities are fantastic. Hot showers, courtyard bar (sensible prices in my opinion), coffee bar for the morning coffee and wood fired pizzas were excellent. Will most definitely be back next year (we are from Sandhurst, Berkshire).

Líbí se Very friendly site in a nice location. Everything you need plus a bar and restaurant complete with fish and chip and pizza vans on site. All staff were excellent and especially helpful when my van wouldn’t start on departure. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Highly recommended!

Líbí se A fantastic site… very well managed, clean, great facilities on fantastic nature reserve grounds. Local shop selling fresh food just a few minutes walk and a pub just under half a mile. Really enjoyed the stay and can’t wait to try it out again in the summer. Highly recommended.

Líbí se Great little site. Clean and comfortable. Very nice welcome at the clubhouse/bar and lovely walks. Recommended. We didn’t get hot water for a shower. Not sure if we missed something so not prepared to put it down as a negative this time

Líbí se Very much enjoyed 2 nights at this site. Great comms with the owner and very friendly. Loved the ‘honesty’ hut as mentioned so often in other reviews. Didn’t notice any particular road noise. We did a lovely 30 mins walk on the farm track to Steventon and had a nice lunch at the Cherry Tree pub. All in all I could not fault this site. Will definitely return.
