Líbí se Done 2 nights last year and 3 nights this year. Just a brilliant base to head out into different parts of Wales. Showers are spot on. Toilets are great and always well stocked with toilet roll. Pizzas are great, pitches are wide enough. Running out of superlatives so I'll stop now. Just a perfect place to take the family camping. I went with my son with this being the 2nd year. We will be back for a third next year.

Líbí se Went with my son so he was happy with the children's play area. The pitches were all nice short grass which were thoroughly raked. Excellent for throwing our tent up.

Nelíbí se If you're tenting here you need a car/van full stop. It's too far from anywhere to not have your own transport. There is a bar with a big room but entertainment was only one night out of our 2 nights and it was a man with a guitar doing cover songs. Granted he was good at his job. In my mind there would have been scope for nightly bingo or some other such entertainment that can involve the kids aswell. Bingo in hotels and the like always goes down well with all. The onsite chippy is basically a waste of time for people on site camping. All sorts of people from the local area travel in to use the chippy and the cars are backed up out the site gates. I ended up driving out to Penrith cos I'd set my heart on a chippy meal, as had my son. I was made up we did because we went to Angel Lane chippy in Penrith and it was absolutely lovely and well worth the money.

Transport: You're absolutely right, this is why we invested in the hopper bus that now runs through the summer holidays that will pick you up directly from the campsite and take you down to Pooley bridge or Glenridding There's also a local bus that comes to the bottom of the hill that will take you further a field. We’re tucked away for that peaceful countryside feel, and this is perfect for hikers and customers that are wanting to explore the beautiful lake district by foot. Entertainment: We’re glad you enjoyed the musician — he’s a local favourite! That said, your suggestion about more entertainment, we do have a kids disco on every Saturday with Bingo and Quiz nights which our customers love. Chippy Queue: We hear you loud and clear. The popularity of the chippy with locals is a double-edged sword, and we’re sorry it disrupted your plans. The on site Fish & Shop is certainly making a name for its self and becoming extremely busy with the best catch of the day. However we are exploring ways to better manage traffic. Angel Lane is a gem though — glad you and your son had a great meal there! Thanks again for taking the time to write this. Líbí se Stayed Tuesday till Friday morning. Everything about it seems perfect for families. Went with my young lad. I've done Glastonbury camping in the past, it was his 1st time. He loved it. We used it as a base to travel around taking in Caernarfon, Llandudno bay/pier and also Zip world. Perfect for all 3. Can definitely see us returning next year. I believe this was the showers and proper toilets 1st appearance as was told by someone else. Absolutely impeccable. Toilets were lovely and clean as were the showers. Pizzas were spot on aswell. Just perfect for a late tea around the fire pit. Well done to all who run the place. Will see you all next year.
