Nelíbí se More dogs than humans, so there was alot of barking & dogs wondering around instead of on leads. We were put on a pitch that didnt allow pegs to go in which we thought was abit odd especially as a caravan a few pitches down had an awning up with pegs used.

Líbí se Liked the fact you just turn up & choose a pitch. What an amazingly peaceful, rural site. Just park up, unpack, set up, sit back & relax... Great views. Lovely friendly, chatty owners. Was great to hear about all the work they have done... & want to do. My only criticisms is the shower room could do with some more hanging places & a mat & also a mop to clean the shower & floor with after its been used... Loved our stay & willbe back.

Líbí se Very rural & very quiet place to stay. Amazing views. Lovely welcome from the owner, who took time to chat with us & made us feel welcome. Great basic facilities, very clean & very warm.

Nelíbí se Not a dislike as its not a reflection on the site, but a warning to others the roads leading to & from the site are extremely narrow & full of horrendously deep pot holes, we lost a wheel trim somewhere along the way!!. The owners do explain this on the emails, but be prepared.

Líbí se What an amazingly beautiful place to stay. Very friendly, cheerful staff. Loved the fact that the bus to Ilfracombe stops right outside the park. Very tasty food in the on site restaurant again with lovely staff. Amazing walks around the site. Great level pitches, even putting the electric onto the meter & then a refund for any unused was easy & fast to do. The toilets & showers were immaculately clean, even had under floor heating & plenty of hot water without having to push a button. Loved it here.

Líbí se A great welcome from all the staff. Great sized pitch, loved the fact there was hedges either side. Wonderful park, had great fun playing crazy golf & the 2p machines in the amusement arcade. The showers & toilets were spotlessly clean no matter what time you use them. Plenty of hot water. Good food at the on site restaurant.

Nelíbí se A hedge along the rear of the pitch would be better. We didnt like the "vacate the pitch by 10am" why so early especially as the next person cant arrive until 2pm.

Líbí se An amazing place to stay. Great location to visit the jurassic Coast. The contents in the vending machines were a little pricy, but the sausages were well worth the price 😋. Lovely farm shop just outside the site & of course the pub a little further on. The ladies showers were spotlessly clean with amazingly hot water. Loved the fact that you dont have to keep pressing a button to make them work. The gents unfortunately when my husband went for a shower later in the evening he said 1 looked like a dog had been washed in it as it was dirty, but the rest of them were clean. Great large & level pitch, although they are close together & alot of them on site, some form of hedging between them would be better & more private. Liked the way we were given our pitch number via email & could just drive in & pitchup. My husband was very impressed about the facilities to empty the waste vessals, there was hot water to wash your hands with, the 1st time he's had this pleasure in the 3 years we've been campervanning. Looking forward to returning when the mackerel are in.

Líbí se Very peaceful site with great views & a great welcome from the manager... We were the 1st to arrive & had the choice of the pitches, so we chose pitch 10 in the corner. The place was immaculate, amazing clean & warm shower/toilet blocks.. The pub was very welcoming although quite pricey for drinks.

Nelíbí se Having to pay for a very low powered & bearly warm shower which you still have to press the big button to get to work. There was no information about how long 20p lasted so put 40p in & the meter was still showing 19.46 when I finished, (not sure if this is minutes & seconds left.) So im guessing the next person had a free shower after me.... Its the first time we have come across this system.

Líbí se What an amazing place to stay. Fantastic friendly welcome. Facilities were immaculate. Close to many places to visit. Large pitches. The owners are so very helpful & understanding. We weren't happy in pitch 3 due to the neighbouring campers, so we enquired if we could move & without any problems we were moved to another private pitch, which was brilliant. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked an extra night. We will definitely be back to stay.

Líbí se Great welcome. All the staff were very welcoming & friendly. The facilities were immaculate & kept clean all day. Lovely walk into Coleford town center. Wonderful take aways from Malanos & Alis fish & chips. A great location to visit alot of places nearby.

Nelíbí se Felt very crammed in & no privacy, we were on pitch 2 & felt very exposed as it was right near the reception & facilities, everyone would look in on us (& did) as they drove past & no privacy between us, pitch 3 & the bell tent. The "shop" wasn't as stocked as we had hoped for, no bread or eggs, which was abit disappointing. But luckily coleford was only a 5 minute drive away. The cost of the bacon baps was expensive, with only 3 rashers of bacon, that was very dry & salty.

It was great to hear the positives about our site and good to hear what you did not like as that will help us make evaluate ourselves and the service we provide. I really am sorry to hear that you did not like your pitch - it is one of our most popular pitches as a lot of our guests like to be nearer to the facilities. I do wish you had let us know that you did not like it when you arrived and we would have moved you to a different pitch quite happily. We do aim to please. We no longer sell bread and eggs as we are a small site and it is not commercially viable for us to stock perishable items - historically we have thrown out more that we have sold and with Lidl just a mile away, most guests have found it easier to get fresh supplies locally. Our shop really is just a small scale cafe offering refreshments, drinks and snacks and camping essentials that often get left behind - sadly we are not large enough for general groceries. I am also sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your bacon bap. We don't add salt so I am afraid it is as it comes from the supplier. We really do try and please everyone and am very pleased that although you don't want to return, you would recommend us. If you do decide to give us another try, please do call us and let us know which pitch you would like - we have a lot of guests that ring and book specific pitches. Thank you for the comments about the staff - we are very lucky to have them.

Líbí se What an amazing place. The showers were spotlessly clean, even got to share our shower with a nest of chick's ❤️. The compost toilets were clean as well. Love the no fuss process, pulled in, read the site map, park up & that's that. Jenny is a lovely lady. Sooo peaceful & a wild life haven. The best bit for us was no phone signal & no WiFi, so it was definitely a relaxing time away for us. Love the games room & the little "essentials " shop, what a great idea. Will definitely be back.

Líbí se Great location. A jolly welcome from sue & her dog. Large space for the grandchildren to run around & play games. Great large & level pitch. No WiFi which was great for us, we were informed of this when we booked, but it wasn't a problem for us. Lovely walk to moors valley.

Nelíbí se The toilets were in a wooden shed, which the outside door wouldn't shut. The only good thing about the showers was, they were hot. The cubicle we went in the roof was just perspex tiles of which 1 had moved & left a large gap, there were brambles growing through the other tiles. The drains were either blocked or just slow to drain. My daughter had a shower after showering her daughter & the water was running out the shower door, down the step & out into the main entrance. There are only 2 ladies toilets & 4 showers for the whole of the site, so I can imagine it there would be long queues in peak season.

Líbí se This was a return visit after several years. Was great to see Sandy again. The site has changed since our last visit. Although the welcoming 'hippy laid back' vibe is still there, which is great. Forgotten how wonderful the view is. Great improvements to the entrance to the shower block & to the waste disposal area.

Nelíbí se The light in the gents toilets goes out to quickly, I know it's designed to save energy but it went out during my husbands shower & he had to finish showering/dressing in the dark, which led to him banging his face & bleeding.

Líbí se We were met with a lovely warm welcome from a very happy lady, so that set the tone for the rest of our stay. We found a pitch right in the corner by the side of the stream. The most amazingly quiet & clean site we have ever stayed at. The showers & toilets were immaculate. The walk to the village & to the caves was great. An amazing place. We will definitely be back again.

Líbí se Wow, what a stunning place to stay. A very warm welcome, we had a pitch at the top of the field. Which was a very level pitch with an amazing view of the countryside & was lovely to wake up to the sounds of the birds & the farm animals. Loved the pigs ❤️....Amazingly large & clean toilets & showers. The shop is huge & has all you need & more. We only live a few miles away so I willbe visiting the shop again.

Nelíbí se No lighting to light your way back to the field from the pub, so make sure you have a torch with you & dont drink to much 🤣👍. The pub food is not that great.

Nelíbí se Very narrow to get in & around the site. We were showed to our pitch by a member of staff, we were put next to what we thought was just a tent, about an hour later the owners of the "tent" returned, but unfortunately we were placed to close for them to get their campervan in & attached to the tent, cue the dirty looks & bad language as they couldn't get all the guy ropes in place. Very hilly, narrow & tight site. Everyone & everything was crammed into a space, with not alot of room between everyone. I understand that sites need to have a certain distance between each set up as a fire safety thing, but that wasn't happening at this site. Had to pay to get WiFi, that kept dropping out, so that was a waste of money.

We are very careful about fire breaks which is why we pitch every guest. We also have wide access roads around the park with great views across the valley.
