Líbí se We enjoyed our stay at Kirk Field Banks. The site is well maintained. It is also in a nice spot, opposite a nature reserve and close to the village of Ulgham. The shower and toilet was clean (although I had to remove a plug of hair from the shower plug hole, because the water wasn't draining). There is also an outdoor washing up area with hot water. We were fairly self contained in our caravan, but I can see it was of great benefit to many other people. My husband enjoyed cycling around the campsite and watching the wildlife.

Nelíbí se I think the shower drain trap could have done with being emptied too!

Líbí se We liked the field at Broadhay Farm very much. We were the only people staying there! We liked the owl and the noise of the trains travelling through Hathersage. We also liked the farmer and the lad who helped us to get our motorhome out of their drive!

Nelíbí se We were not happy when we found we absolutely couldn’t get up the driveway in the Motorhome! It had been raining all night and all morning. By the time we set off the steep driveway was slippery gravel. Our front wheel drive van didn’t have a chance. The AA man who came to rescue us an hour later almost got stuck there too! Then we were told we had a 3 hour wait before a garage could send out a tow-truck with a winch! Thankfully the farmer returned shortly after that, and he and his lad towed us up the driveway with their tractor. They were kind and helpful, and we were very grateful to them.
