Líbí se The setting was lovely, with a pleasant little walk close by just as advertised, Great for nature lovers as there were the sounds of birds and sheep all around giving a nice peaceful feel and we also spotted squirrels and a deer outside too. The pod was clean and bed was cosy and comfortable. A welcome gift of milk, eggs and tea things on arrival was a nice touch and most appreciated. We opted not to light a fire but all you needed to do so was provided. It’s a short drive to the station 20 mins where you can catch the Scotrail train to Edinburgh and nearby Dalkeith had plenty of shops and restaurants for food and dining out.

Nelíbí se Would have preferred a small 2 seater sofa rather than a futon as I don’t find futons comfortable but wouldn’t put me off revisiting.

Líbí se Absolutely wonderful stay. Lovely warm welcome, with cream tea on arrival which was a lovely surprise. Cabin was beautiful, spotlessly clean with everything you could need on hand. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was lovely and hot with plenty of pressure. The quality of the accommodation exceeded our expectation. We really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit with comfy seating area right next to the flower garden, where we sat and watched the sunset; so peaceful. Very easy to find places to visit nearby plus there are plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants within easy distance. Fabulous all round and would highly recommend. Only wished we could have stayed longer.
