Líbí se Wonderful place: trees, river, canoes, ping pong, soccer field, biking, close to Hay-on-Wye. Great for family. Can make fires in fire pit! Facilities are a bit old - but clean.

Líbí se We loved the view, the setting, the walk into Lyme Regis, that it basic and not full of unnecessary facilities. Thus we really liked the general concept...

Nelíbí se However, even as an experienced camper and festival person...the facilities were exceptionally basic - even for me. It will be lovely in the farmer refrains from having 'all the amenities' and keep it basic - but improve it a little more than at present. e.g., keep everything solar such as the lights, have full recycling - including food recycling available at the place here dishes can be washed...a drink water AND a washing up facility will be useful ...perhaps a little wooden hut in front of the shower to have privacy when you shower and get dressed. It could all be semi permanent ( e.g., a foldable beach hut without a back wall to to be placed infront of the shower. ) Better water pressure for the shower will be a huge benefit ( shorter shower times). Overall, as I camped in an exceptionally well provided place just the day previous to my arrival and paid the same price...I feel that it is a little over priced considering the basic facilities at present... That all said - I will want to camp there again, even if the facilities remain as is. It is a lovely place and the setting and wind protection is perfect.
