Agricampeggio Capo Scalambri is in the province of Ragusa, a quiet and unspoilt place of old-school variety and with over 85 kilometres of coast along with many traditional Sicilian fishing villages. The province's capital Ragusa is within easy driving distance of the site and is properly ancient as well as pretty splendid (and splendidly pretty): it's one of the eight cities of the Val di Noto UNESCO World Heritage Site and has a lower Old Town separated from its upper town by the deep ravine of the Valle dei Ponti. The team also recommends seeing the Necropolis of Pantalica, a collection of cemeteries with rock-cut chamber tombs dating from the seventh to the thirteenth centuries BC and also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the cities of Modica, Noto, Vittoria and Comiso, all easily accessible from the site.
