Přidejte své obchodní údajeLove fresh air, swimming and beaches? Not so keen on putting up a tent? A visit to the Vendée and Kampaoh Les Sables d’Olonne is likely to suit you rather well, then. The tents at this lovely glamping site on the edge of Brem-sur-Mer are furnished and ready for your arrival… and they're only about a kilometre from one of the best beaches this area has to offer.
Getting to that beach (Plage des Granges) is a treat, too, as you'll just need to wander along a forest path to get down to the soft sands and the sea, where hours of swimming, sunbathing, sandcastle and watersports await.
In fact, the whole site is surrounded by woods of pines and holm oaks, so it’s a very peaceful and fragrant place to spend your days. No wonder, then, that a lot of guests choose to stay put rather than venturing out – strolling between the heated open-air pool, the restaurant and the bar to keep themselves refreshed with drinks, snacks and ice creams between swims. And don't worry if a damp day comes along – you'll still be able to swim in the indoor pool.
A mini market and bread/pastries delivery service are both on hand, so you really don't have to leave the site at all if you don’t want to. That said, it is worth getting out and about at least a little bit – perhaps renting bikes on site to pedal between the beach and salt marshes, or checking out the attractions of the nearby seaside resorts (Les Sables-d’Olonne itself is about 15 minutes' drive away).

Místní atrakce
The beach by the site is lovely, of course, but to make the most of your Vendée break you may like to make visits to some of the neighbouring resorts too. Les Sables-d’Olonne (15 minutes’ drive) is the obvious first port of call – for the zoo, the Museum of Shell and the seaside murals of L'île Penotte as well as the beach and various watersports. Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie (25 minutes) is another nice place to spend a seaside day.
For active days out, try the rides of Parc des Dunes amusement park (five minutes), a thrilling drive at Circuit Mecamax - Karting & Quad (10 minutes) or a ride along the old railway at the Vélo-Rail (25 minutes). You could also get up into the treetops at Parc accrobranche - Le Grand Défi (15 minutes) or Feeling Forest (half an hour).
To see some local sights, head to Castle Talmont or Château de Commequiers (both 25 minutes), or see the highlights of the whole area at once with a trip to Vendée Miniature (10 minutes).
