Brioni Pula Glamping

This is the Istrian coastline, so there are plenty of beaches to visit if you fancy a change from the one by your caravan. Head south of Pula for gorgeous spots like Gortan Cove, Histria Beach and Hawaii Beach (both 25 minutes) or choose Cyclone Beach to go snorkelling in the crystal-clear waters and kayak to a sea cave. There are diving centres in and around Pula if you’d like to explore the underwater world a bit more. A day trip to the Brijuni islands is a must as well – the archipelago is protected as a national park, so it’s got fabulously clear waters along with forest trails and bike routes to explore. The islands are also linked with former dictator Josip Tito, as you can find out at an exhibition next to the ferry port on Veli Brijun island. Pick up ferry services and day tours in Fažana (10 minutes’ drive) – a pretty village where you can easily spend some time wandering among colourful houses and dining on fresh fish too. You’ll want to spend some time in Pula too, for sure – the huge Roman amphitheatre is the huge draw, but it’s also worth looking out some of the other attractions like the Temple of Augustus and the archaeology museum.
