We stayed one night in our campervan and, without doubt, this is the best site we have ever stayed on. The food and entertainment available at the site were also excellent and overall we were very impressed with everything this site has to offer.

I am sorry to hear that you had an issue with the Wi-Fi during your stay and if this had been reported to us, we would have done our best to rectify this.
With regards to a later check out, we do offer this to guests but unfortunately not during our peak times..

Takeaway closed 2 days a week even at peek time and you need to order 1.5 hrs before you want it. Some staff “unfriendly” particularly in takeaway.
The Mowhay needs to be run as a restaurant again peek times, really missed it. A buffet Sunday lunch/dinner would have been a winner.
Needs more children’s entertainment, evening kids club.
Music entertainment too early so everything closed at 9pm. Area was uncomfortable and very cold, should have been in the underused Sports Hall.
Thank you for taking the time to post a review following your recent stay at Wooda as it was lovely to read all the comments that you have made regarding the cleanliness of the park & facilities, the park being peaceful & quiet, the lovely views from the park, our pitches and the children’s play area.
We offer a variety of pitch options, but the only one that has water on the pitch is a premier pitch however there are several taps on the park where guests can get water.
I am sorry to read your comment regarding The Lodge Takeaway being closed on 2 nights. During the summer we offered 2-3 food choices each evening so when this was closed there were other food options available. The Lodge Takeaway is extremely popular and does offer the option of placing an order online in advance and I would strongly recommend that guests do this especially during the busy months to avoid any disappointment.
All the food and drink facilities on site are run under a separate management, and I will therefore pass on your comments regarding some of the staff being unfriendly at The Lodge Takeaway, that you would prefer an alternative style of dining at The Yard Bar/The Mowhay, the live music being too early and of the outside undercover area. Although the Loft Cocktail Bar closed at 9pm, the Sports Bar at 9.30pm and The Yard Bar was open until 10pm.
During the summer holidays we have offered a variety of additional activities for children such as archery, football, arts & crafts, pottery painting, cheer leading, magical tot’s dance and a pop-up play village. I will however pass your suggestion of an evening children’s club to the owner for his thoughts.
