Our pitch had all that we had pre requested which was fab. The facilities block was amazing 10/10, and I made use of the really good laundry services too. Not obvious how to pay by card as the card reader is tucked around the corner near the ironing board, a little sign would be helpful as others were having the same issue locating it.
We enjoyed an evening of live music from the sea shanty group consisting of guys from the RNLI . Really entertaining. Had a couple of cocktails and drinks from the bar during our stay. We didn't have any food due to food intolerances but it seemed very popular and smelt good. There is a good shortcut footpath to use on the perimeter of the field opposite the gates and this takes you into Bude avoiding having to walk in the road. Mostly downhill, but the opposite on the return trip, there is a pub on the way down which looked inviting and popular. The site was extremely well maintained and rhododendrons of various colours dotted around. The dog exercise field was generous and includes a few agility apparatus. Lovely walks on site through the woods. An amazing five days, a good base for our 5 days here and we would definitely return in the future.No em va agradar: The limited hours the coffee shop was open, there were occasions when we would have enjoyed a coffee but were unable. Someone had gone out and left their dog in one of the static accommodations and it cried a lot, not the fault of the site, but it did disturb the peace of the afternoon. I would like to think management will have picked up on this and had a word for the future. It doesn't seem to be the type of site to take any nonsense, evidenenced by the neat and tidy premises and efficient staff.

No em va agradar: The only complaint I have is that I think £12.50 for hook up is too expensive, that equates to over 50kw at current prices. We were on a non electric pitch but had a battery issue so had to move to a pitch with hookup. We were in a camper and I doubt if we used 1kw, I know some of the big motor homes can use a lot of electricity, so maybe have a tariff based on van type or on usage? You can’t argue that it pays for the facilities as not every one uses the hook up.

I am however sorry to read the comment that you have made regarding the eating and drinking facilities. On arrival guests are given an information sheet which includes the food and drink options available during their stay along with opening times. Each day we offer 2 different food and bar areas to give guests the choice and a variety. The weekly information sheet is also displayed on the door of reception.

The bus service that stops at Wooda is run by the Go Cornwall Bus company and unfortunately the service and timetable set by them is beyond our control Guests who wish to go into Bude by bus on a Saturday can however catch a bus in Poughill which is a 10 minute walk from the park.

The site itself was beautifully and thoughtfully done. Check in was very smooth and you can tell this site is the owners passion. There was a big kids play area, bar, gift shop, golf, tennis and more.

Following the fire last year, our main bar is due to re-open very shortly and has been re-branded and will be known as ‘Moo & Brew’ (formally The Courtyard Bar & Grill). This will also have an exciting new menu and on the nights that food is not being served there will be pop up food vans on site which have been extremely popular with our guests. The temporary bar will then close and the opening hours for Moo & Brew will increase.
I am sorry that you were unable to book any of the activities during your stay. Pitch & Putt is available throughout the day and does not need to be pre-booked, but it is advisable to book the gym, tennis or badminton court in advance to avoid disappointment.in our peak times.

We had booked to stay in the field but on arrival the lovely lady on reception informed us that there was a very large group camped all around the field and offered an upgrade at no extra cost to ensure we had a peaceful stay. This was most appreciated and we had an amazing stay. Amazing site- we will be back again very soon!!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and for attaching some photos following your stay as it was lovely to read the comments that you have made regarding the warm welcome you received, the arrivals area, the new footpath, the toilet, shower and laundry facilities, the dog exercise field, the park being well maintenance, Cousin Jack and of our staff.
I am sorry to hear that you were disturbed one afternoon by a guest leaving their dog in one of our holiday homes which we were not aware of and do not allow. If this had been reported to reception we would have contacted the owner and rectified this situation.
Opening times for all our facilities are always displayed on the reception door or by scanning the QR code on the arrivals folder. The Loft Coffee Lounge is currently open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am – 2pm and on a Monday morning Barista Coffee is available from The Lodge Takeaway.
We will take your feedback on board regarding a sign for the card reader in the laundry room, and we hope to welcome you back to Wooda in the future.
