No warden onsite at night meant people stayed up partying until 3am.

Toilets are dated and far from campsite

The pitch was great loved that we could park next to tent the field was massive so plenty of room for the kids to run round the park was amazing

Lots of loud drunk campers returned at around 11pm each night from the bar and turned there music on full and screamed and shouted and swore all night at the top of there voices there was no way my kids could not hear this they kept getting in and out of there car and driving on and off the site in the night making us feel very vulnerable there was no warden to make sure people adhere to the "rules"
But there was still plenty of staff about from the bar
Reception only said they were sorry and there was nothing else they could do but they believed it had been loud because other campers had complained

The food in the pub was delicious. Especially the breakfast. The staff in the pub were really friendly and let the twins feed the fish in the water feature. The kids disco was lovely and my 2 year old twins really enjoyed it. The twins absolutely loved the park. Check in and out was extremely easy.

The toilets and showers were not to a good standard. Some of the toilet doors didn’t lock and the showers and toilet sinks were not cleaned regularly. The floor was really dirty. It was really loud on the camping field with children screaming until 1am on both nights I stayed. You can hear cars/motorcycles from the main road all through the night which seemed like they were racing around the country lanes. The member of staff at the check in was not the friendliest and didn’t seem like she wanted to help with any queries. WiFi didn’t work as well as it could have. Signal kept dropping. But we wasn’t there for the WiFi anyway.

Play area for children was brilliant, level campsite for tent, power socket in laundry room so we could plug in travel kettle rather then taking camping stove

Showers and toilets were in need of a revamp, although showers were hot at least, one family in camping area were playing loud music until late - no warden came round nor was there a number to ring

Fabtastic play area and some friendly staff. Decent space and open area. Good washing and laundry facilities.

Having no toilet roll in the public toilets. Kept forgetting to take the toilet roll provided to you when you check in.

On arrival staff were lovely. They directed us to the camping field and said we could pitch up where ever we wanted! As I haven't camped for nearly 20 years i was worrying that i would have a particular pitch to work with so it took a lot of pressure off that we could choose our spot.
It rained and rained and rained some more but we all still had a ball. Managed to do our campfire and bbq too. Took me hrs putting up my tent so it was great that the others campers on site werent bothered by the kids. There was plenty of distance between tents so any noise from other tents or thinking we could be disturbing others wasnt an issue at all! The kids play area was close to the camping field and the kids loved it but only used it once because of the rain.

Well what can i say about the staff... Amazing dont know what id have done with out them...! I was in a borrowed car my phone was broke and it was raining it had already took me god knows how long dismantling my tent in the rain and packing the car. By this time the kids were hungry and so we were going to Mc Donalds on the way home. We went to get our deposit back and my car wouldnt start. I wanted to cry. The fella who i assume is the manager came across the field and could see i was really stressed and that the kids were fed up and hungry. Offered for me to leave the car on the field and follow him over to the pub and he would sort something while we grabbed a drink! He managed to send over 2 guys who started the car for me! Cant thank them enough for all there help. Great little team they were and nothing was too much trouble!

Cant comment on wifi as my phone wasnt working anyway.

We really enjoyed the bar and entertainment the staff are really friends ky and helpful even after we arrived later then then the reception was open brilliant site

Liked the play area nice and clean
Toilet and shower facilities were ok
Like that there was a laundrette and wash room.

How far of a walk the facilities are from the camp site there in the caravan side for some reason would be better suited closer the the camp pitches.

Everything about the establishment was perfect ,
Ashley in the restaurant is a top bloke he went above and beyond to make mine and my little boys stay brilliant even with everything that went wrong with our tent and weather ,
All staff where very helpful
Food and drinks very reasonably priced and of very good quality
Children’s park is one of the tidiest play areas I have ever seen

We really enjoyed the campsite very spacious we also really enjoyed the entertainment everyone was extremely friendly and made us and our children feel so welcome from start to finish. We couldn’t thank the residents anymore if we tried for how relaxed they made us all feel. Our children really had lots of fun and felt very welcome they also loved the park. Staff were also very polite and helpful at all times.The rain didn’t stop us from making it memorable. We loved it that much we will be back again for the bank holiday weekend at the end of august to see everyone again for another weekend of fun. Thank you again for a lovely weekend and see you again soon
