Lovely site

We all enjoyed the pub food (an the kids enjoyed playing on the pool table) the staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. The on site shop is one of the best shops I've seen on a campsite, along with the play area.. which the kids loved. Showers an toilet all clean an working too....definitely will be returning 100%

I was told there was a kids clubhouse online, but I'm not sure if it was closed or shut down but we couldn't find it. (Although the kids still had plenty of fun on the playground to notice it was shut)

Super helpful staff at the main counter and any other staff who work here too. Was able to check straight in with no problems at all, could go straight onto the camping pitch and choose where we wanted to stay as it was very easy to understand each pitch.
The grass was cut short and the ground was well looked after, along with all the roads through the site. Streetlights to help see where to walk.
The bar on site is well placed and has a few options for drinks and food too which is a great option to have while staying here.
Showers located with toilets and there are a few of each so it doesn’t get too crowded.
A well placed site, only a short drive to local towns but there isn’t any great need to leave as there is everything on site including a very useful shop.
Both toilets and showers were cleaned regularly and checked to see if they were needing restocking. The laundry room was available all hours thankfully to wash any clothes or wash cooking utensils and plates.
It was a big plus for me being able to park next to my tent on the pitch, with it being a driveway awning but also a tent it made it so much easier being able to park with it all.

Unfortunately the hot water didn’t work our full stay here, I did let them know and I was assured it would be fixed. Was a shame about this especially when everything else was so great.

Great family friendly site. Our party had 3 children, 8, 3 and 2, all had an enjoyable experience. The huge playpark was fab for all the children. The toilets were clean and washing facilities good. The pub was friendly, we didnt go at night but we enjoyed a game of pool on saturday afternoon and had a lovely breakfast on sunday. The shop is more than adequate and staff were helpful. No issues with noise at night. Went for a stroll down the stretch of canal. Will definitely be returning.

Clean camp site with a shop and bar onsite, great toilet and shower facilities.

There is little to no security on the site outside of the office opening hours. There was teenagers who had come from the caravans playing on the play area being rude and inappropriate to the younger children. Friday and Saturday night there was music playing until late but it sounded like it was coming from a nearby site.

The facilities were good having everything needed. The staff were friendly. The campsite had a lovely family feel to it. My son loved the large park.

Whilst the showers were big enough for one person, I struggled with my 3 year old son. It would be helpful to have a larger family one.

Enjoyed are stay great for the price very muddy but that wasn't the sites fault just bad weather but still enjoyed little club onsite was brilliant and lovely food
