Lovely place, lovely staff

Really well looked after site, with helpful friendly staff, we stayed last year, came back thus year and will be booking again for next year.
Even with bad weather the site held well and there was still plenty to do in local area.

It is a really great place to relax in the bosom of nature. Great views and attractions in the area. Camping prepared for 100%. Clean toilets and showers. Plenty of space so privacy is maintained. I recommend!

Lovely quiet campsite, helpful staff.

A little basic, toilets/showers could be upgraded. More washing up facilities with hot water would also be great!

We took our campervan on the flat grass tent pitch where there was ample space. Plenty electric hook-ups available. Peaceful site with sounds of the river in the background. Shower blocks were very clean and each shower is individual with door that locks. Toilet blocks are separate for male & female. Easy access to water and bins. Close to nearby town Dolgellau that has cute shops, cafes and pubs. We walked it (about 2 miles) in about 45 mins, roads were a bit winding but ok. Site has pretty views and sheep in nearby field (couldn't hear them bahing at night though).

Grass desperately needed cut. It was very long. If they'd cut it as it was then there'd be chunks of cut grass everywhere so I get that wouldn't have been the best option but if it was maintained sooner and kept short it would've been much better. Feet got a bit wet walking through it in the morning with it being damp.

The campsite has the most amazing views and staff were pleasant.

The lack of a hot tap to wash up is really inconvenient, and there is no cover for the washing up station - must be a bit awkward in the wet weather we have been having.
There are no formal pitches, we were along the middle with all the other electric pitches. Then another tent got pitched up very close to our tent - which was bizarre considering the field is huge. I think the space could be utilised better here.
The toilet facilities were basic - with only one toilet in the mens and a single basin for each. This meant that you were queuing to brush teeth/ wash hands.
The showers were in need of a clean with about 5000 flies stuck to the roof.

Great place with a beautiful view. Very clean toilets and showers. Very nice and friendly stuff. We chose the place as they offer late check in which not all of the places do so It was a big advantage.

We had an electric hook up at was sleeping next to I believe electricity generator which was very loud so it was difficult to sleep. We are newbies in camping so we had no idea we should bring earplugs or at least they would be very helpful.

Great little site stayed there twice now.
