Grass would have been better not as long
We do not fill the field with camping as our facilities could not deal with it. That is why we carefully monitor the bookings.
The grass has been kept longer than usual on the campsite itself to save the ground breaking up & getting muddy with the wet weather we have had lately. Thank you.
Great holiday even though it rained we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Tradueix (A través del Traductor de Google)Em va agradar: 1) Arrived at site and drove down to the bottom field where it had two contact numbers, phoned one of them and was told where to pitch up (we had an electric hook up). Owner arrived as we were finishing pitching our tent up and had a chat with home, nice and friendly. We pitched up near the entrance to the field in the middle, plenty of power points along the field.
2) Showers are a portacabin type of layout with six cubicles, can get a bit warm in there when having a shower but no major issue. Decent pressure from the shower and cleaned daily.
3) Toilets are at the side and serve their purpose, saw a review complaining about being able to see your feet from outside when using them but it’s no different from any other cubicle door besides if you’re that concerned just shut the outer door.
4) We had an issue with our regulator on our gas bottle that we brought down with us and the owner came down and lent us his small cooker until we were sorted
5) Fire pit and logs were at a very reasonable price and are old steel car wheels which again serve their purpose
6) Overall even with the pouring down rain we had an enjoyable time at the site and would definitely use again
If you’re looking for a quiet, back to basics campsite without all the commercial frills where they rip you off with on site shops like some other sites then this is idealNo em va agradar: Pouring down rain 😂
