Large spaces to camp on a really peaceful site It was our first visit very relaxed atmosphere, Close to Dolgellau a lovely village with craft shows and shops. There are nice places to eat and we enjoyed Wednesday talent night outside The Torrent Walk. They are in the process of building a new block of facilities for next year. The showers were free and clean The farmer is very friendly and his sons. Our trailer wouldn't attach to our towbar leaving his sons came within minutes to help, Despite being really busy on site for the bank holiday rush. We loved staying there. The toilets are cleaned daily unfortunately some visitors are not very respectful using them after being cleaned. Thank you for your help we will be back

But the family that camped next to us also had kids, and our children started playing together, which was great because it gave us more time to relax.
The main facilities include only one male restroom; however, chemical toilets are distributed throughout the campsite.

Tradueix (A través del Traductor de Google)Em va agradar: Amazing views down the valley towards Cader Idris. Plenty of room around the site. Sporadically placed blue toilets that were always clean, even on a bank holiday weekend. Showers were always clean & warm, simple but effective.
No em va agradar: Not so keen on the dish wash area. Another sink would seem appropriate & maybe se hot running water for them.

Tradueix (A través del Traductor de Google)Em va agradar: The view. Porta cabin toilets which were added on our second day meant we didn’t have to use awful shared bathroom.
No em va agradar: Amenities were terrible:
*1 sink per men’s toilet and one for women’s for hundreds of people is really inadequate.
*Dirty bathrooms every time I went in.
* Only 1 outside and uncovered sink for hundreds of people to wash up in!! Water drained, and constantly overflowed, into a bucket under sinks broken pipe! This meant you were standing in a puddle. On top of this the sink was always filthy.
*Showers were mouldy in places and dirty.
*Bins overflowing always and no where to put food waste!
*Grass really long so hard to put up tent and also people played loud music until past 12 at night without owners telling them to be quiet!

We agree that our facilites need a re-vamp and are in the process of building new facilities which should be ready next season. However, they are cleaned regularly and kept tidy.
Bins are also emptied regularly but can prove difficult to keep on top at busy times.
With the weather we’ve had, it can go from no grass to too much grass so quick! But we try to manage this as best we can.
Apologies for the loud noise. We have a quiet time policy and visitors are more than welcome to contact at any time if there’s a problem (as we don’t live on-site, we’re not aware of this unless someone tells us).
Thanks again for the feedback but 1/10 feels a bit harsh.
Happy with the campsite and will defiantly return there.

No em va agradar: slightly noisy generator in the middle for hook ups so you need to park away if you are in a tent.

Firepits and bbqs are allowed and they provide firewood at £5 for logs and £5 for kindling..
Showers were clean, hot water with pressure and adequate for the many campers on site.No em va agradar: The toilets for some reason have no doors.
The electric hook-ups are all in one row in the middle of the park..making the area overcrowded around the hookups..
The ground was level but the grass was overgrown in most places, even though there was an attempt to cut the grass whilst we we there ..

We are in the process of improving our facilities but they are cleaned regularly. We do have a ‘quiet time policy’ and are more than happy for people to contact if not all visitors do not adhere to this (as we don’t live on-site site, we’re not aware unless someone tells us).
