Large open space, excellent views, friendly staff

Only 1 male cubicle. Portaloos dotted around site but ones visited didn't flush.

Great view from the campsite, super friendly staff who were happy to help. Easy to set up electric hookup. Toilets and shower cubicles were clean at all times.

Some other campers on the side were noisy at night (after midnight) (loud music and talking).
No light in showers for at night (only a minor issue as you should just get a shower when it’s light/ daytime)

Really beautiful location with views straight up to Cadair Idris (when it’s not too cloudy!), massive field to pitch up wherever you’d like (electric plots were marked out) and a river alongside the field too. Nearby shops in Dolgellau and right near a fuel station and shop for essentials.
Particular thanks to Vera and the whole team for being really accommodating, welcoming and friendly! It was great to have the campsite (and nice warm proper showers and toilets) as a base to come back to after exploring straight from the site without needing a car. I’d really recommend Torrent Walk right from the site and Foel Caerynwch too, and lovely road cycling routes loops via Barmouth and Cregennan Lakes. Cadair Idris is totally stunning too. I really loved my stay and looking forward to visiting next year hopefully!

I really enjoyed the whole weekend. Kids loved running around the open field while myself and my partner relaxed.

Views, hot showers, hire of everything needed for campfires: £10

Big group there on the first night, loud, sweary, riding motorbikes around site. Not campsite's fault necessarily, though they should probably have been asked to not ride motorbikes. Electric pitches slightly close together huddled around hook ups on the busy night.

Beautiful views, large flat open space, attractive bubbling river nearby. No reserved pitches so if non-electric you'd have all the space you need and some.
Electric hookups concentrated in smaller area powered by diesel generator, so more cramped. Showers were hot and clean. Pleasant welcome.

Facilities are basic (in fairness did knew that beforehand) but also not plentiful. A single washing up sink with no cover and no hot water plus only one wash basin for the entire site in the main toilets at the entrance probably limits how much you can keep clean!

Toilet is clean.

After few nights having rain and strong wind which we didn't have a good night sleep a new camper who had music on until past midnight. On the Saturday where the campsite was full, when we arrived that evening, a camper pitched thier second tent very close to us where we can't even park our car at the side of our tent. Too much camper on the electric side where everyone was squash close to each other. There were few spaces on Non electric which I think had no issues.

Lovely views. Showers / toilets at entrance clean. Great location

Only one sink available to wash up which only has cold water and no shelter. The sink wasn’t monitored as there was a dirty sponge sat there for three days and was still there when I left. Other campers also left sink dirty therefore it needed to be monitored.
Toilet seat broken on portable toilets located in field and no handle on the other. Portable toilets were not as clean as toilets at main entrance. No soap available either.
