And sunbathing: the site has direct access to a family-friendly sandy beach.
Wildlife wanders are popular pastimes in this region too, along with gentle cycle rides, day trips across the border to Norway 15 minutes from Årjäng, and peaceful potters around the forest near Ekeby to forage for berries and mushrooms. The stone statue of Borgåsgubben is 15 minutes away.
Ekeby has an on-site café for coffee, cake and spectacular lake views; a playground and a volleyball court; free wifi; a toilet and shower block and a laundry room. Pets are welcome.
