Em va agradar The wide open spaces of the Hop farm and the walks.

No em va agradar This is our 2nd stay at the Hop farm. Unfortunately it will also be our last. Well over half the pitches are now occupied by permanent residents, now I have nothing against permanent residents, but on the whole these residents go out to work each morning returning sometime that evening, and with so many the usual friendly dynamic of a campsite was gone. The washrooms, which were supposed to have access by code, were simply open, so they were being used by workers from around the farm, and potentially also locals walking through the farm. We've visited many campsites, but the state of hygiene in the facilities in the mornings was a disgrace. This alone was sufficient to ensure we will never return.

Del gerent: I am sorry you did not enjoy your second stay with us.
When you stayed in May the long stay guests were on a different field, however in November due to pitch conditions we only have the 1 electric field open. If there had not been any long stay guests there would have only been 2 other pitches occupied and with it getting dark early the dynamics would not have been the same as our summer months..
The wash rooms do have a working code, however if the doors are not closed properly the general public will use them, they did have 2 daily cleans and the workers setting up for The Wealden Christmas Fayre had other facilities to use.

Em va agradar Plenty of space with a great walk along the river to East Peckham and back via the Man of Kent. Accommodating staff let us move from our waterlogged pitch. Water piped to the pitch was an added extra.

No em va agradar Gents toilets were a bit of a war zone. Considering the low occupancy level, no effort was made to clean/fix two (out of three) of the toilets. Had thought the attendance of the cleaner would improve things, but unfortunately no!

At this time of year during the week the facilities are only cleaned once per day any issues in-between cleans need to be brought to our attention to be rectified.

The management are looking into putting heating into the shower/toilet block.
Perhaps you will visit again when the weather is warmer.

Em va agradar Location was good for where we wanted to visit.

No em va agradar The toilet and shower block was disgusting, didn't even want a shower with shoes on.
We were there 3 nights and I would have bet money it wasn't cleaned the whole time we were there.
Right next to a main road so could always hear traffic.
In a small field right next to other campers who were noisy late into the night with loud music.
The small onsite shop was closed even during opening hours.

Del gerent: I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. When you check-in you are given a card with your pitch number, the codes and the mobile number to use for any issues including disturbances whilst staying as we are unable to rectify anything once you have left.
The facilities are cleaned on a regular basis, again any short falls we need to be notified immediately. As it is autumn mud does get walked in which will make the floors dirty.

Em va agradar Easy booking, Great value for the money, lovely pitches with electric hook up and water tap aswell 👌 river medway close by, loads to do, took our two young grandchildren with their bikes, they loved it, will definitely book again.

No em va agradar Turned in sign said 4star park. The new showers were closed with a strong smell of poo. Went to the old showers that looked like they had just been cleaned by a blind person. Pubic hair on the floor it looked like a cheap trailer park left 30mins later never went back

The new showers and toilets were the only block open, the older ones have been locked for over 1 month and no-one has access to them so I am bewildered at how you managed to gain access to them and not notifying us to investigate the alleged issue. Other guests staying at the same time have noted how clean the facilities were.
