Space in My Tent app ensures campers wake up happy

Pitchup.com’s new Space in My Tent app offers camping and caravanning enthusiasts the opportunity to open their tents, and their hearts, to romantic possibility, whilst enjoying the great outdoors.

The app, available on iPhone and Android, allows users to upload an image and provide information about themselves before answering questions that will ensure compatible slumber, such as:

• Size of tent pole
• Thickness of fly sheet
• Tog rating

Users are then free to scan matching nearby listings on the GPS enabled app to find other available campers looking to wake up happy.

The app is initially launching in an invite-only "beta" version and will be trialled at 69 ‘Passion Pitches’ across the country before being rolled out more widely. A gay version of the app, 'Happy Campers', is also planned to launch in 2013.
