Primitive grass campsite
Liked: What an absolute gem of a site. So lucky to have found this. Back to basics (no EHU) but with a wallet-friendly price to match. Very, very clean loos, washing station & great, hot showers. Friendly, helpful owners. This is exactly what I'm looking for when booking a couple of nights away for myself, the 9 year old grand daughter & the dog. Huge field, very spacious, on a slope but plenty of flat ground. Rope tree swing, eggs from the place at the bottom of the hill as you come up £1.20 a half dozen (nicest eggs I've had in years!) & one of the best walks I've ever done, a 3hr loop (check AllTrails) straight out of the field. Honestly, this was our kind of campsite perfection. They even provide washing up liquid & scourers. Thanks so much for a wonderful weekend, we will definitely be back.
Disliked: Having to leave!
