It's a baa baa here and a quack quack there with a stay at Ol MacDonalds Farm in Savannah, Missouri, a fab and family-owned site with a full menagerie of inhabitants to meet. Along with lambs and ducks, you and your small sorts can also go on a field trip to meet farm horses and ponies, goats, chickens and geese. And alpacas – although you might have to pause there in your song to ponder what noise to make at this part… Also around to keep you occupied are ponds and fishing (catch and release only, please), marked walking and hiking trails, and plenty of firepits and picnic tables for alfresco eats. Horse riding canters around the local countryside can be booked in reception. The farm is conveniently set three miles north of Interstate 29, with easy access to County Road 344. It has water points and sewage disposal connections, a laundry room and heated showers and bathrooms. Please note that a charge applies to visit the farm part of the site.
