ECO River Camp

Liked: It was OK for a night's stay and obviously as an eco camp facilities are limited (only cold water to wash up and sign said wasn't to wash up anyway and advised not to flush the loo if can to save water). Surroundings are beautiful though. Had heard the tents closer to river had been washed away when floods happened in August and pitches were quite muddy so suggest check forecast before staying and unless mud doesn't bother you avoid when it's been wet. Other than that staff very friendly and although we didn't use it the bar looks lovely. Was last day of their season so I'm sure the camp is better equipped earlier in the year

Disliked: No hot water for washing up and muddy area when wet.

From the manager: Hello. Thanks for your review. We're sorry that your experience wasn't 100%, but we have to point out that you misunderstood some things. We've never had issues with water or tents during rainy periods. It's true that the grass can get wet during rainy weather, and there might be some mud in certain areas or pitches get wet (but never muddy), just like any other campsite. We've NEVER advised guests to conserve water, especially not in the restroom. We simply remind guests in the showers to be mindful of hot water usage. If someone chooses not to heed this advice, they can take a 10-minute shower if they wish. As for the cold water in the showers, we have 3 showers with hot water and 1 with cold water for a refreshing summer rinse. The cold water shower is clearly marked with a sign - just 2 meters away, you had access to a hot shower. :) Next time, please check with reception if you're unsure about something.

Liked: Quiet, lovely surroundings, bar had great choices, friendly staff. Area had many places to just chill with our own group or meet with other people.

Liked: alles war sehr gepflegt, die Gemeinschaftsküche war eine tolle Einrichtung und auch das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit

Disliked: Manche Gäste schätzen die Gemeinschaftseinrichtungen auf dem Campingplatz nicht wert und gehen damit nicht pflegegerecht um.

Liked: Jest to fantastyczne miejsce na odpoczynek. Położone wśród przyrody nad sama rzeką sprawia że nie chce się go opuszczać. Wystarczy rozbić namiot albo wynająć któryś z już gotowych na miejscu. Położyć się w hamaku i za słuchać w szum rzeki. Potem można wsiąść na rower, do kajaka albo udać się na wędrówki w okoliczne lasy. Można również zwiedzić okolice jaskinie wodospady i wąwóz. Po wszystkim wykąpiemy się w czystych prysznicach i zjemy coś w olbrzmiej zadaszone kuchni z lodówka i wyposażeniem. Wieczorem można usiąść przy ognisku i napić się piwa z małego baru żeby następnego dnia zacząć kolejny wspaniały dzień nad Rzeką. Czy można chcieć czegoś więcej?

Liked: There is a kind of magic in this campsite... The relaxed atmosphere, the sound of the river, the silence at night, the warmth of the fire in the evening... if you then add lots of space for everyone, a cool and shady pitch , a delicious food served by Rex's bar, very nice and new toilets and showers, an open (but covered) shared kitchen with tables for tented guests... you have a perfect campsite like this! We definitely fell in love with Ecorever Camp, we were supposed to stay 3 nights and ended up staying 7 nights!

Liked: Friendly, excellent service. Beautiful, remoteclocation by the river. Small bar and catering van (vegetarian only) - limited menu but good food and well priced. Tables and seating arranged around a fire pit to sit and enjoy your drinks and food. There is also a kitchen area with all the pots, pans and utensils if you don’t have your own.

Disliked: There is a train line on the opposite side of the river - the passenger trains are relatively quiet and stop about 23:00, but noisy goods trains run through the night (approx. 1 per hour).
