Local attractions

The local experts in reception will happily arrange walking, cycling and e-bike tours, as well as windsurfing, kiting, diving, snorkelling and fishing from Golden Horn Beach (five minutes’ walk). The pretty harbour village of Bol (20 minutes) has a tangle of cobbled streets to discover, and lots of pavement cafés for leisurely waterfront coffees while watching boats in the marina. From there, go island-hopping to the trendy neighbouring island of Hvar (half an hour’s boat ride) or stay firmly on dry land and explore Bol’s Renaissance-era Our Lady of Grace church. Turning inland, see the bizarre rock carvings at Zmajeva špilja (Dragon’s Cave, five minutes’ drive) You can also taste and buy local vintages at Stina Winery (25 minutes’ walk) or sample olive oils at the island’s Olive Oil Museum (40 minutes’ drive).
