Liked: Warm welcome on a family run site. This was was my first ever stay in the Cornish hinterland, I could reach places to visit on both coasts without having to take a long drive. Also only around half an hour to Minions for starting a walk to the Hurlers and Cheesewring stones. Tina, the owner, is very friendly and likes to ensure that you're comfortable in the pod without any problems (none whatsoever), I was even invited to share their Christmas lunch. I also got to enjoy the company of three beautiful and friendly dogs including the new puppy, and a horse and pony. Very relaxed atmosphere. As for the pods, ensuite with a nice hot shower, a huge nest of a bed and still with enough room to not feel claustrophobic. And all very cosy at night with the fairy lights along the wall, also an ordinary light if you need to read etc. All I have to do now is return in Spring to enjoy the fire pit outside, with luck it won't be raining so much next time at night. Definitely worth the trip. Hopefully be able to sit in on the band practice one day, thanks to everyone at the site and a hello to Bobby.

Liked: Wow...We booked this trip away for my girlfriends birthday and Tina could not have been any more welcoming. She went above and beyond and made my girlfriends birthday one of the most special she’s ever had in her life. We cannot thank her enough. The pods are amazing...The horses and dogs are beautiful...If I could I would give it 10 stars. If you would like to go glamping Bobbys lodge is an absolute must...This is the first review I have ever left for anything in my life. Thank you Tina for a weekend we will never forget. Dan + Daiane.

Liked: Everything was so very thoughtful, usb chargers, fire pit, washing up liquid, many pillows! We were so well looked after and loved the friendly family, and so well behaved dogs.

Liked: Everything here was perfect for us. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed by Tina, Bobby, Thor, ice,(dogs)star and daz(horses). Nothing was too much trouble. The pod was clean and beautiful and surroundings were peaceful and relaxing. We loved being away from our busy life and watching the sunsets by our fire pit! Thank you all for a fantastic stay.

Liked: The lady who runs this place is really lovely.
Disliked: We didn’t end up staying at all due to it just not being what we expected, there was a fair few spiders in the pod so we wouldn’t be able to sleep, grass was overgrown within the field, kind of felt like we was in a shed in someone’s garden and not a weekend away. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t for us and may be to another’s taste but it was a huge shame as we had to then travel all the way home and waste £150. The pod was clean other than the spiders and the lady is really lovely but I just don’t want anyone else to find themselves in the same situation.

From the manager: what a lot of nonsense .just reed other peoples Reviews please. .some people are not cut out for Country life . the Meadow is left long for the wild life . and the pods have a cut area around them as do the drive in up to pods also the pods are deep cleaned

Liked: The pod was amazing, had everything you needed inside. It was a great location, 10 mins into St Austell and 20 mins into Newquay. The lady was sooooo lovely and her family were so helpful. It was my partner birthday and they even got a card, some wine and some cupcakes and decorated the pod! I will deffo be returning
