  • Gypsy wagon glamping near North Dimson in the Tamar Valley, Cornwall
  • Five minutes’ drove to the Tamar Trails Centre; Dartmoor 10 minutes
  • Fully equipped kitchen and dining area, shower, barbecue and firepit
Set in the scenic Tamar Valley, in Cornwall, Clumber Park is a small glamping spot offering a gorgeously decorative gypsy caravan in a private field – just room for a family group (and their dog). The lucky guests have exclusive use of a one-acre plot, which is part woodland and part sunny meadow. There’s also room on the pitch for up to four tents, so you can hire out the whole site and family can camp alongside (bring your own tents and bedding, up to eight people and two dogs can be accommodated). The romantic Wild Rose gypsy wagon dates back to the 1950s and is luxuriously decked out inside; she sleeps two, all bedding is provided and there is electricity on site too. Close by is a fully fitted and covered kitchen with a dining area (the outdoor table is made of solid oak), as well as a separate hot shower and compost toilet. A barbecue is also provided, along with wood every night so you can snuggle up around the firepit. Camping doesn’t come much easier than this.
