From £22 (for 1 night, 2 adults)   Why not enter some details and get an accurate price?

Ideally situated to explore Dorset and Hampshire, Shamba Holidays appeals to country lovers and young families who wish to enjoy the host of attractions that the local area has to offer.

Shamba is a family orientated site. We encourage families to the site to enjoy the play area, indoor/outdoor swimming pool and the recreation field with football pitch. There is a clubhouse, where we offer a selection of reasonably priced meals and drinks. We also operate a small shop where you will find lots of local produce along with sweets, drinks, ice creams, bread and papers as well as kids' toys, postcards and magazines.

Dogs are welcome on the site, but there is no evidence of them being here apart from the plentiful dog bins provided! The dog walk field encourages plenty of wildlife and wild flowers for you to enjoy, and it is not unusual to spot the odd deer on the site! The toilet facilities include baby changing facilities, underfloor heating and gentle piped music. Also available is a family bathroom with bath. We have been awarded 5* Loo of the Year for the last six years.

Liked: We liked everything I have to say this is the best site I have ever stayed at and we will be going back asap. The owners, staff and fellow campers were all just amazing. Everyone was friendly, helpful and above all FUN. Nothing was too much trouble the site itself was spotless the swimming pool was great enclosed if it was chilly and open air if it was hot. I cannot rate this site highly ...

Disliked: I disliked absolutely NOTHING.

Liked: The pool on the site is excellent, the site is an ideal distance from poole and bournmouth so have the choice of both beaches.
Perfect for families, there is a park on the site for young children, take away, small bar, shop, indoor/outdoor swimming pool.
Staff are friendly, shop has most essentials.
Very clean, toilets are immaculate and showers are lovely.

Disliked: Site is on a dual carriage way, there is a short road off the dual carriage way that leads to the site. This being said you dont get alot of noise from the road on the site and the site is more positive than negative.

Liked: The friendly staff, everywhere was spotlessly clean, choice of washroom facilities with small children. The pool and suberb family changing rooms. Fenced play area for children. The camp site was set back from the road. Loads to do in half term with children at various venues and good value for money. Would definately visit again in warmer weather.

Disliked: The weather, but i couldn't book that!

Liked: Safe site for the children to play, The staff are always happy to help. The toilet blocks were brilliant, warm & clean. Had the swimming pool to ourselves most of the time. Restaurant/take away food and site shop was reasonably priced. Nice size dog walk area.

Disliked: Not really a dislike - more of a grumble.
Bumpy road leading into site. To get to the dog field/ball pitch you have to walk down the lane - past houses, no lights early morning or later evening, My kids could not play ball without us being there, and I felt a bit isolated and unsafe if i was alone up there.

Liked: Everything! The staff here pride themselves on perfection and it shows. From the site pitches to the toliets. We came here on probably one of the wettest weeks this year and no matter when you went into the toliets, showers, washrooms or anywhere else they were spotless. The swimming pool was very good, clean and warm. The staff were very friendly and good with the children.

Disliked: There was no dislikes but if I had to find one then it would have to be that there was no WIFI. But then again that`s not a dislike.

Liked: Facilities:
Washing up
Laundry Room
Toilets
Showers
Swimming Pool
Cleanliness
Radio in facilities
Well marked pitches
Polite and friendly staff
Warden assistance, felt safe & secure

Disliked: All-in-one shower, loo & wash basin cubicle's were not open in ladies, yet were in the mens?!
Clubhouse opening hours seemed a bit restrictive only being Fri-Sun, I feel you could capitalise on that facility with further opening hour opportunities in the week.
Bumpy acces track off the main road was a little awkward in parts, especially as towing a 21' caravan.
