Liked: Warmest welcome and personal attention by the hosts, and we got a spot with a terrific view. All pitches are nicely spaced. It was lovely
Disliked: If I was being nit picking I’d say I prefer compost loos to portaloos …but it really is not picking. The facilities were clean, and that’s the most important thing

Liked: Lovely campsite with great views and well spaced pitches allowing for some privacy and peace. Terry and his colleague were very friendly and hospitable. Toilets were clean. My first experience at a rustic fairly basic campsite with less facilities and actually it was wonderful to just pitch up and enjoy the space. We wished we had more time there. Thank you and will be visiting again for sure.

Liked: Our second stay within a month, as previously we were greeted by the site's friendly hosts, they even reserved a pitch near where we stayed a few weeks earlier. It's nice campsite to go to enjoying the peace and quiet away from our usual city life without sirens and traffic noise. Set on a hill it has an amazing view, we can actually see Bodiam Caste from our pitch. There are walks nearby to go to a nearby town Staplecross for some basic food shop. And of course, a nice walk to Bodiam Castle. Definitely one to add to our favourites list to go back to :)

Liked: What a lovely campsite! So very peaceful and really well thought out by Terry to make the most of the lovely countryside with lovely spaced out pitches. We enjoyed the most relaxing weekend, all of the campers were super respectful, there to enjoy the surroundings and get a dose of the great outdoors. Shower was £1 a go and lovely and warm too. If you want to go the the White Dog Inn up the road i would recommend booking a few days ahead as it was fully booked both evenings, we popped in for a drink and the food looked amazing so hope we'll have better luck next time. We will certainly be back next year!

Liked: Friendly and personal welcome from Terry and Nathan. The owners try very hard to make everyone feel comfortable and give good tips. The place is clean and the individual pitches are spacious and sufficiently spaced apart. Some with picnic table, fire pit and views of the adjacent sheep farm. Everything you need for the right camping atmosphere! There are 4 chemical toilets and a warm shower (£1). There is no other hot water. Garbage cannot be disposed of on site. A footpath leads from the square in 30 minutes to Bodiam Castle. The Hub @ Quarry Farm is also within walking distance and has a great breakfast. We had a wonderful stay!
Disliked: Some other guest didn’t comply with the rules (no campfire because of the dryness), although Terry explained the situation in an advanced e-Mail.

Liked: Nice view with Bodium Castle nestled in the trees across the valley. Pitches nicely spaced with long grass between cut sections. Great value for money. The site had a very chilled out atmosphere and was quiet with little or no road noise or raucousness. We were met at the gate by Terry the owner who was very welcoming and helpful. Loo's clean. Didn't try the shower but it exists. Its a simple pop up outfit but well done.
