  • Small family-run and adults-only site in the hamlet of Weston
  • Well placed for walks around the Shropshire Hills
  • On a four-acre meadow with direct access to footpaths
If you’re a wanderer at heart, a stay at Weston House Caravan Site – an adults-only touring park (for motorhomes and caravans only) on a spacious four-acre meadow – will give your legs a good stretch. Being in the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Beauty, this is an excellent base for those planning to spend their days traipsing about on two feet: the Long Mynd, Brown Clee and Wenlock Edge are all within 20 minutes’ drive, and there are plenty of public footpaths easily accessible from your front door (also good news for travelling mutts in need of walkies). The park is in the pretty Shropshire hamlet of Weston, 10 minutes’ drive from Much Wenlock, and a mere 100 metres from the B4368 – so getting in and out is straightforward as there’s no need to navigate your van along any winding lanes or through narrow gateways. Once you’re here, the place is peaceful and the pitches are equipped with 15-amp electrical hookups, plus they have plenty of room for awnings, barbecues and outdoor furniture. Eager to put those feet up after all the trekking? Wander down to the wildlife pond for quiet times chilling out on a bench seeing what you can see. If you prefer your waterside times to involve angling, relocate to a coarse fishing lake a couple of miles away, and if your walking efforts have left you in need of a pint and a plate of grub, It’ll take you about 10 minutes to drive to a country pub.

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked: The site was very quiet with only 4 other couples on the site. It was our very first outing with our new caravan, so it was very basic but enjoyable and relaxing. Good access to Much Wenlock and Ironbridge. I would say it suits older people as there are no other facilities on site. There is a single toilet 🚻 and shower room if required, but were told the shower was not working well 🤔 We enjoyed our stay and the dog 🐕 loved it.

Disliked: Grass had just been cut and the cutting were everywhere. Would recommend a collector on the mower

Liked: Peaceful, great view. Although they advertise no shower or toilet facilities if you get caught putt he facility on site is basic but perfectly usable. Found a pitch, set up and was warmly welcomed by the owner. Set in a stunning part of the country with plenty to see and do. Food if you want to eat out is exceptional at the Feathers pub 2 mins drive away ( 30 walk if you are up to it). Thanks Weston house for a perfect break.

Disliked: Not really a dislike but opportunity to improve the grey water and toilet waste areas as are very primitive.
