喜欢 Howards wood is a lovely place to camp Plenty of pitches available to choose from in or out the trees. P.s if anyone finds a rose pandora its mine lol

不喜欢 Some pitches although away from each other were quite close.

喜欢 Loved everything about this place. If wild camping is your thing then this is exactly what you're looking for. Definitely look around for your pitch, we settled at 17 and we dont regret it. The owner is lovely and nothing is too much trouble.

不喜欢 Nothing at all. Its a fab place. Just a suggestion, maybe on the way down to pitches 18/17 its a bit of a hill so maybe some man made steps could be put in. (I lost my socks and sliders (my own fault for wearing sliders while wild camping) as I slipped back down in the dark 🤣.

喜欢 left to pick own camping spot and close to the toilets. Was nice to walk around the fishing pools.

不喜欢 The pitches were far too close together for the electrical pitches and not very even surfaces, We spent the majority of Friday and Saturday having a ball kicked at our tent and car. (We know this isn't the places fault). The Saturday evening there was no toilet paper in the whole of the toilets, it was brought down about 7.30am Sunday morning. The motorway is quite close so even of a night time it is quite noisy but if you can block it out, then it's not much of an issue. Also on the part where you camp there are some static caravans, where you can't tell if people privately own them or they rent them out, but a guy who was staying in them was acting rather strange around the tents and vans that were left there unoccupied while they went out of the evening.

喜欢 Small campsite, great views and friendly people who own the campsite.

不喜欢 Only one shower in each of the female and male toilets. Only male shower was giving out hot water.

来自经理: Thank you for your review. We did have a horrible time with the ladies shower, but thank goodness, all fixed now. We are working on more showers, but it is a very costly exercise and is in the grand master plan for the future. We hope you had a safe and pleasant trip home.

喜欢 Such a lovely place to stay, its not often you find somewhere with a communal fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster ect! The views are amazing also! We can’t wait to come back.

喜欢 Michael was welcoming on arrival which was lovely, We loved everything about the site, it was lovely being far away from everyone else and the peace and quiet, the views were amazing too! The toilets take some time to get used to if you haven’t used them before they are a good way of saving water! The shop and fire pits are a good idea with the honesty box! Thankyou for a lovely stay!

不喜欢 By the pods there could be a closer toilet and some solar powered chargers for the pods, that would be good!

喜欢 An amazing place to stay, quiet and peaceful and not far from the village. The owners are wonderful and so welcoming, their hospitality is second to none!... can’t wait to go back already.
