喜欢 Lovely site. Lots for the children todo from a playground, trampolines, bouncy castles, pool, zip line and tight rope. Pitches divided by hedges and are a very decent size! Didn’t use the facilities and was only there for one night as a stop over however the block looked lovely from a quick look round.

不喜欢 Wish we could have stayed longer and actually used everything on offer and explored surrounding areas. Should of got pizza for dinner

喜欢 Lovely site. Perfect location from Calais. Good facilities Lovely warm showers. Great price. Lovely food at reasonable price (make sure you book a table as gets busy) Had small dog gated area but enough to let your dogs stretch their legs (shame about the dog poo but that’s nothing to do with the owners of the site as they even provided poop bags and a bin in the gated area so very grateful) after three weeks in France looked for a campsite for the night before our return to the uk instead of an aire. Very helpful staff-I meant to book this site for two days time (at the time of looking) but accidentally booked the wrong dates on the booking (selected following week) but a phone call and email with correct dates to the owner and they sorted it for me. 👍 I wouldn’t recommend just turning up as it seemed a very popular stop over with people arriving/leaving for Calais.

不喜欢 Honestly only wish we had booked two nights as didn’t get to explore the area.

喜欢 Children’s playground equipment The lake is lovely and where we spent the days but the lake isn't connected to the campsite. You can camp in campervans round the lake and still have facilities. Theres also lovely restaurants round the lake.

不喜欢 -unsure how this is a four star campsite! -children’s entertainment was less than ten minutes. Two songs and the staff just left. Adult entertainment went on until well passed 11 and was very loud (bad karaoke) -unlevel pitches -the pool was mouldy at the top of the liner and it was very over crowded. -the showers were filthy even after they were ‘cleaned’. When raised with reception but she didn’t want to know. Another members response was well it’s last thing of the day. (It was 4pm) -the gate barrier was never down even at night so people could come and go throughout the night (which they did) -our last night a police car drove through the campsite with blue lights on. Drove all round then left. -none of the staff would speak as you passed them. -policy states no gazebos. Loads of people had them up and nothing said. -I believe there’s not enough sockets for electric pitches as there was cables ran over the road to reach a socket. -cars fly round the campsite as its tarmac for no care for small children -the showers didn’t have any sort of shower head so water just sprayed everywhere without actually getting you wet. -lights in the toilets turn off after a couple of minutes as it’s on a timer not a sensor. Not enough time to actually go to the toilet/shower. There were no lights in the women’s toilets, only light from the men’s side. -most lights in shower compartment didn’t work. Showers didn’t stay on unless you held the button in. -the signage makes it look like the men have their own showered but women’s is shared with men as well. -the mini golf is basically unplayable as there’s gaps between the concrete and it’s not level so the moment you put the ball down it rolls off. -we literally paid over £140 to just park our campervan as we spent no time on the campsite or used any of the facilities. Staff were not friendly towards us and most didn’t speak any English.

喜欢 What a Lovely clean friendly site this is. Fresh pastry option every morning which were lovely. Homemade pizzas were excellent Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. If your looking for a family feel campsite this is it. Nice shady pitches Good location if you’re able to walk a distance. (Unfortunately with our children the waterfall was a bit far) Definitely be back.

喜欢 The pool area The food at the restaurant The walks from the campsite and lovely bakery in walking distance. Level pitches Good location for couple of nights on our way further south to break up the journey.

不喜欢 Only a few showers have been renewed. Only one big enough if showering with children so big wait for it. The furniture at the bar and restaurant are very wobbly. Same price pitches vary massively in size. A lot of people kept towels on sun beds all day even if they didn’t go to them till late afternoon when the pool was the busiest. Was told at check in that there was a children’s club but not to bother sending our children as it’s all in French. Washing up facilities water was only just warm than cold.

喜欢 What a lovely friendly campsite! The owner is very helpful with suggestions on places to visit and places to eat out at. They really have thought about what you would look for while staying there. The facilities are brilliant and cleaned twice a day. They’ve even thought about the little things as well like nice hand soap and air freshener can in each toilet 😊 🤣 The family shower room huge and our children loved it. Also in there is a proper baby changing table. I really wish we lived closer but wouldn’t hesitate to stay again when in the area. It’s Also the breakfast baps are big and lovely with nice coffee. (Normal annd decaf available) All very reasonable prices as well. All made to order (place orders the night before) This is a campsite that cares about the customers experience. 👍👍👍

喜欢 Lovely views. Friendly staff Nice to see the animals Can walk for miles and miles. Would stay again if passing the area but really new facilities need to be sorted.

不喜欢 Stayed 12th-14th April. Unfortunately The new shower facilities weren’t open due to plumbing issues even though review comments mention they are. Half the new toilets were open but didn’t seem to have hot water. The much older facilities were open but there was always water across the facility floor from the showers and the basins had poor water pressure. We didn’t have showers. People tended to leave rubbish by the new facilities even though there is no bins. The bins are close to the entrance. Don’t rely on Annie’s kitchen being open at the weekend especially if it’s quite and you won’t know until it just doesn’t open.

喜欢 Nice small site Facilities were good Nice walk along the canal from the campsite. Side note there isn’t an actual playground. It is a small water course which they can play in. Our children liked it as it was fun and different.

不喜欢 Facilities were good only slight thing when you had a shower the curtain tended to stick to you as wasn’t much space. Nothing wrong with the temperature or the actual shower though. Not campsites fault but we were there three nights and tried to book a table at the pub over the road and was fully booked. Probably just bad luck but could be worth booking in advance.

喜欢 What a lovely campsite. Friendly helpful staff. Lovely walks right from the campsite. Nice size pitches. Nice facilities Our children enjoyed watching the lambs in the fields as well. Would definitely head back if in the area again.

不喜欢 The walks from site aren’t really pushchair friendly. The only tiny tiny tiny thing is the sign for the campsite can block your view as leaving the site back onto the main road but just have to be careful.

喜欢 Loved the campsite for the location and size of pitches with electric. The children liked the animals. Also with electric pitches there’s a large area in the middle for the children to play and you end up chatting to other campers as it’s a friendly layout. We Knew there was no showers so that was fine with us.. The whole idea of back to nature is lovely. The river was lovely. We liked the ‘check in’ process as you look for your name on a board and drive to your pitch and left alone. Pubs close by however the only facilities on site really didn’t work for us. If you went fully self contained and didn’t use the toilets it really is a lovely site-not near the toilets.

不喜欢 There were three issues we had which would sadly make us not return. The owner has a male dog and doesn’t like other males dogs if yours hasn’t been ‘done’. We have two so this caused major problems if you saw him as his was never on the lead. We weren’t the only ones staying with this problem as they also had a ‘complete’ boy. Also the composite toilets really were discussing. I think it was two toilets for 12 pitches. We were fully up for these toilets however The flies and smell was horrendous and it wasn’t even sunny! Other campers also commented that even when they were cleaned daily they still stunk and weren’t very clean. I really wouldn’t like it If your pitch was right next to them. Lastly you have three separate bins on your pitch to sort your own rubbish (more than happy to do that) however these weren’t empty before we checked in and weren’t emptied in the three days we were there. It’s such a shame Never had any contact with the owners/staff. Would of been nice just to have a welcome

Thank you for the heads up about the bins and the toilets, these had fallen below our usual standards and we will make sure we keep on top of things going forward. Regarding the issues with dogs, we have a female, so can only assume this was an issue with Monty, who belongs to Matt, who runs the shop at the moment. I've had a chat with Matt and he is aware his dog has become more territorial since the peak season started and is making other arrangements.

喜欢 The showers were lovely and warm. Everything was clean. Saw the pool cleaned everyday. Nice and secure site with electric gates Friendly staff

不喜欢 Only slight issue was that the fence and gates on the dog field were quite large so our cockerpoo fitted through the gaps. Wouldn’t be a problem if your dog was an escape artist. Credit to the staff they did say walk it before letting the dogs off for this very reason.
