喜欢 The scenery is next level, the river, Wasdale lake and the mountains, the fields are a great size and there’s a lovely cafe by the farm entrance called the sawmill, and there’s is a tearoom at Wasdale house. Went open water swimming, the kids had the best time.

不喜欢 Portaloos and the drive way into the farm which is big enough for 1 car

喜欢 Everything, Chris is a fantastic host, super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Stayed for 2 nights on a non electric camping pitch which was along side a river with spectacular views, plus its on the Mach loop so we were lucky enough to see RAF planes passing by. The shower/toilet/potwash block is pristine. Cleanest facilities I’ve ever used on a campsite. If your kids enjoy old school camping, wading in the river, climbing trees, kicking a ball and roasting marshmallows over a disposable bbq, this place is ideal! It’s only a 30-40 minute drive from the beach and some spectacular lakes making it a great base, but there are some lovely walking routes near the site too. Would 100% recommend
