喜欢 When I'm in that part of the country, I always stay at Shepherds Crag. I like the seclusion and the fact that it is a small campsite. I don't mind the single track roads that lead up to it. My favourite time is early mornings seeing the sun rise over the peaks. To be honest I lose track of how many times I've stayed here, quite a few over the years. Hopefully I can get back later this year.

喜欢 I like to try and have at least two visits a year spring and autumn. Although the site is just a stone's throw from the motorway it seems secluded and very rural. The site suits me and my V W van very well, a completely different world to the over populated area I now live in. So handy for both the Yorkshire Fells and the Lakes . I haven't put any stars down for wifi because the phone is something I like to get away from when I'm camping.

喜欢 My second stay this year. Brilliant site, although quite close to the motorway and an A road very rural and quiet. If you like waking up to cows checking out your tent or van over the fence, and sheep in the paddock next door you will love it. I stayed because I wanted to walk one of the three peaks in North Yorkshire, but it's very easy to get up to the lakes too, from this site. Joe the owner is a nice friendly guy and I'm already looking forward to getting back next year.
