喜欢 Everything was great during our stay! The site is spotlessly clean, run by the really friendly & knowledgeable Sandy & Bruce - I can’t fault anything! It’s a gem of a campsite & we will definitely be back. We stayed in the shepherd’s hut - it was me & my 20 year old daughter. Stayed 2 nights to climb Scafell Pike. Excellent location, very peaceful and the views are postcard worthy. We hired a fire pit & got the logs along with the S’mores kit - it was lovely as it got darker to see fire pits being lit up around the site. Facilities wise there was everything I needed. I didn’t use the WiFi so can’t comment on that. I’m secretly hoping people ignore this positive review so that it stays a hidden gem!!

喜欢 Excellent campsite! Very friendly reception staff on arrival who told us everything we needed to know. Easy to find pitch which was enormous! Facilities are great - didn’t use the pool due to the weather but it was clean, inviting & well maintained. Cafe was lovely, recommend the breakfast! Bathrooms were fine, plenty of hot water for showers and cleaned regularly. The weather wasn’t kind to us but some lovely fellow campers helped us pitch in the strong winds which was much appreciated. Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short but we will definitely be back - daughter loved it here and we need to try the ice cream farm!!
