不喜欢： Stayed on pitch seven and made mistake of pitching awning adjacent to bungalow next door as kept awake on first night by light on gable end had to swap van and awning next day. We heard constant noise from the bypass and had to sleep in van, pointless bringing awning, also pitch seven is under trees and our awning was splattered with bird crap we had to try and clean off before packing it away. Finally we were in the area for dogs this I didn’t realise this until I saw the pitches up near the shop, I can’t remember being asked when booking about this, so we won’t be staying there again.

Thank you for taking the time to review us. I'm sorry that on this occasion, you feel we didn't meet your expectations. Pitch 7 is a sought after pitch as it has shelter from lodge 10 and also is close to the water point but we do understand that if you want pitch black at night, the safety light on the top of the lodge will be visible. Apologies for the bird poo, although we have no nesting birds in our trees currently, they do fly around still.
We don't actually have a dog section of the holiday park and we limit the amount of dogs on site, too - I think there may be some confusion with the sign that was temporarily across pitch 9 (the really long pitch at the end by lodge 4) with a rope which instructed dog owners to not walk their dog on someone else's pitch - someone had mentioned it as an issue and we weren't able to find out whose dog it was so we made a physical barrier to highlight the issue. I hope this helps to explain that situation!
Although you wouldn't return to us, we're really pleased that on your visit you met our helpful friendly staff, enjoyed our nice little shop, and made us of our close location to St Michaels Mount.

The most flexible touring park e.g. reception open longer, access to pitch earlier, leaving time later, access to water etc., easier than any site we’ve been on . Also the reception was really welcoming and helpful. It was a sharp contrast to the pitch we went on to and almost half the price. The best women’s showers I’ve used.

We're pleased also that you found access to our water points easy with our long retractable hoses being on hand if needed.
Thanks for mentioning our friendliness and helpfulness too; our jobs are a lot easier when we have such lovely guests so it's impossible not to be friendly in such cases.

The toilets & showers were clean & pleasant to use & the pool was certainly a fantastic bonus. The pitch was a great size too & they even had a shop for all the essentials. Location is great, just a short stroll & you’re in Marazion but the best thing about this holiday is that everyone was so lovely. The people running this campsite were so friendly & couldn’t do enough to help you & we met so many great people camping as well. Quite probably my favourite holiday ever, it’s a perfect base to see all of the beautiful nearby beaches & ticked off everything on my wish list. Thank you Wheal Rodney, we’ll definitely be staying again 😊

Thanks for your review! We're so pleased that you found our staff welcoming and helpful, enjoyed the use of our swimming pool and could see the work that our cleaning staff put in day after day :)
Unfortunately, our holiday park was designed and built before modern campervans/motorhomes had a need for drive over waste points and so on a long and thin site, there's no area where we could put a water and waste point that wouldn't block the road. That being said, we've tried to help navigate these potential issues by investing in 50m retractable hoses at 3 water points that will allow people to park in a parking space and fill their tanks at their leisure, and a special extendable pipe for the drive over grey waste.
We're really pleased you enjoyed your stay and would recommend and return!
