The only thing going for this place is the views.
There are too many pubs trying to be campsites and this is one of them. The toilets are the pub toilets which is all good until you want to brush your teeth or have a shave, the showers have no where to put anything and the campsite is muddy and trees are too close making pitches a little on the small side, it's a good job I didn't take my awning, which is extra cost btw. The electric point was in a bush behind the neighbours van and as such not very accessible. And given the poo behind my pitch didn't want to go rummaging in the undergrowth.
As for the food it smelt great and restaurant was full, we hadn't booked or been told we needed to when we checked in, so had to eat elsewhere. But the ginger haired member of staff was plain rude when she told us they were full and it took some one else to suggest we could have a takeaway. Reading the reviews it chalk and cheese abd appears to be ok unless something goes wrong, then no customer service.
I would not recommend camping or eating here and suggest the owners work out what they are, either a campsite, Indian restaurant or country pub as it says on the sign. If they want to be all 3 they have some work to do.
