The views

The only thing going for this place is the views.

There are too many pubs trying to be campsites and this is one of them. The toilets are the pub toilets which is all good until you want to brush your teeth or have a shave, the showers have no where to put anything and the campsite is muddy and trees are too close making pitches a little on the small side, it's a good job I didn't take my awning, which is extra cost btw. The electric point was in a bush behind the neighbours van and as such not very accessible. And given the poo behind my pitch didn't want to go rummaging in the undergrowth.

As for the food it smelt great and restaurant was full, we hadn't booked or been told we needed to when we checked in, so had to eat elsewhere. But the ginger haired member of staff was plain rude when she told us they were full and it took some one else to suggest we could have a takeaway. Reading the reviews it chalk and cheese abd appears to be ok unless something goes wrong,then no customer service.

I would not recommend camping or eating here and suggest the owners work out what they are, either a campsite, Indian restaurant or country pub as it says on the sign. If they want to be all 3 they have some work to do.

Water point needed some work as it was housed in a weed filled shed with brambles around the taps

Lovely site we’ve been to before. Great restaurant serving Indian street food - we had a great meal.
Great location for exploring the Malverns

Disappointing there are only cold water taps in the bathrooms and the wash up area. The electric showers have hot water but other than them, there is no hot water anywhere. Facilities not the cleanest, either - hence only giving a 3 star rating

Lovely pub excellent Indian food. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. The campsite needs some TLC but ok for 1 night

The Inn was under construction, builders driving in and out the camping field with big lorries. Big rubish burn going on. And the campsite is next to the busy road. Lots if noise.

We booked an electrical pitch, the promised picknick table wasn’t there, no one there on arrival to check us in. No waste bins, showers and toilets on the back of the hotel. They were nice but there were no lights in the corridor which was rather spooky. Good shower (only 2 on site. One couldn’t be locked) but rather old

I had imagined to camp there and have a nice drink or a meal in the evening but that was nog an option.
On the photo’s it looked like we would have a nice view on the Malvern Hills but we hadn’t. Overal a disappointment. We booked and payed in advance and since there was no one to talk to about this we stayed but if we hadn’t payed already I would have looked for another site.
